I. ACTIVITY RATIONALE:

The Republic Act 10742 (RA 10742) or commonly known as the SK Reform Act of 2015 provides
for the recognition of the vital role of the youth in nation – building and thus, aims to promote and protect
their physical, moral, intellectual and social well-being inculcate in the patriotism, nationalism and other
desirable values and encourage their involvement in public and civic affairs.

Further, Rule V, Section 30 of the Implementing Rules and Regulation of the same act provides that
during their incumbency, SK official must attend the training programs to be undertaken by the commission
in coordination with the DILG.

The Pederasyon ng Sangguniang Kabataan of Municipality of Macrohon in coordination with the

Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) shall conduct a three-day Leadership Training for
Sangguniang Kabataan Chairperson in the municipality which aimed towards developing the necessary
leadership skills that will help the participants with their roles and function as young leaders of this
generation.

II. OBJECTIVES:

a. To formulate individual leadership development plan.

b. To differentiate various leadership style.
c. To demonstrate teamwork and collaboration in performing their tasks as young leaders of
this generation.

III. METHODOLOGIES:

A. MATERIAL/EQUIPMENT:
The event coordinators together with the members of the committee will facilitate and
handle the necessary preparations including the materials and equipment to be used so
as the budgetary appropriations of various activities to be compete prior to the conduct of
the aforesaid event.
 B. PARTICIPANTS:
All SK Chaipersons of 25 Barangays, LYDO & DILG Staff

C. VENUE AND SCHEDULE OF ACTIVITIES:

SEPTEMBER 08 – 11, 2022 @ Villa Roma Resort and Hotel, San Antonio, Northern
Samar

IV. BUDGETARY REQUIREMENT

I. SOURCE OF FUNDS :

The 25 Barangays will contribute Eight Thousand Pesos (₱ 8, 000.00) each payable to
the Sangguniang Kabataan Municipal Federaion (SKMF) Treasurer in order to realize the
Leadership Training cum Year End Conference of the Sangguniang Kabataan of Macrohon.
