PREFACE

Today the world swiftly changing, there are multiple challenges faced by us. Surly it is the
knowledge through technology, which makes us to overcome them. The project stage-I
report which is an integral part of four year engineering program provides a platform to all
the student to augment their technical study through practical revelation. It is the time,
which is effectively used by students to enhance their interaction with technical atmosphere.
The project stage-I is obligatory as per university course outline. This report is based on
work done and theory gained during analysis of the topic. The report basically introduces
working of project in detail.
The designing of Water level indicator helps us to detect and indicate the level of
water in the overhead tank and also in the other containers. Nowadays, all the
householders/owners are storing the water in overhead tanks by using the pumps. When the
water is stored in the tank, no one can identify the level of water and also, no one can know
when the water tank will fill. Hence there is an overflow of water in the tank, thus there is
wastage of energy and water. By using Water Level indicator we can analyze the water
level and can stop the overflow/wastage of water in tanks.
