1. Identify the biblical basis for the concept of Mary as the Mother of the Church.
- This verse emphasizes Mary as the "Mother of the Church," which is interpreted as a
reflection and extension of her position as God's Mother and her participation in
Christ's redeeming mission. It follows Mary's journey to become the Mother of God,
beginning with her acceptance at the Annunciation, when the Holy Spirit
overshadowed her. Mary's mother function now extends to the Church,
representing her caring and guiding presence in the Christian community.

2. Explain the different titles given to Mary that reflect her role as Mother of the Church, such as
"Queen of Heaven" and "Mystical Body of Christ."
- The queen of heavens means that Mary is the mother of God which in the beginning with and
the annunciation when the holy spirit overshadow her. And the mystical is and thus mother of
all members of his Body, all his disciples. as disciples of Christ and as members of his Body, they
have Mary as our spiritual mother

3. Describe how Marian devotion (veneration of Mary) expresses the belief in Mary as Mother of
the Church.
- It is the relationship between mary and the church were it has the abundant richness by
redeemed by Christ and the church by beiliving it the disciple of Jesus and Mary is a daughter of
the church and our sister.

- Mary is the model of the church because she shines the forth to the whole of our community
and she Is the best model of virtue and she is also the first to be evangelized.
