My proyect.

Hello, I’m Naiara and I’m going to talk about my project. For my project
I chose topic 6, which is “The most interesting/ unusual jobs”
The job of a professional mourner is a person who goes to funerals to
cry and to help the family with the duel.

The requisites that a mourner has is to be discreet with the other

members of the family and with the people who go to the funeral.
They have to be good actors and they have to be extroverts.

How do they work?

First the mourners talk with the family to introduce themselves about
how the situation is. Then it is easy to act more credibly because they
know how the person was. Then they go to the funeral and they talk with
the people about the history of the deceased. But when they think it is a
good moment they disappear without seeing anything

Why do they do this?

They go to the funerals to obviously help the family but it is because
some deceased don't have enough family. So they support the people
who need it.

¿How many hours does it usually take?

It usually takes two to three hours per funeral so they go to two funerals
a day. They charge a day between 30 to 120 euros per funeral.

I think it is interesting but a good job because people that are in this
situation need people to support them and if it's a funeral of few people it
is better to be with more people.
Finally I think it is an unusual job because it is not as normal as being a
supermarket worker and it is more delicate than other jobs.
