Principle Of Operation: Frequency is proportional to wind speed.
DYNALAB anemometer is a fast response, low threshold opto electronic
anemometer. When rotated by wind, a chopper on the anemometer
shaft interrupts an infra-red light source, generating pulses from a
photo transistor. The signal is amplified and fed through a line driver.
The frequency is proportional to wind speed. The anemometer is
provided with a 3 pin connector for easy replacement and comes with
10 meters of shielded cable.

Principle Of Operation: Potentiometric type sensor (Resistance proportional to wind
direction)
DWD 8601 wind vane is a counter balanced, low threshold wind vane.
A Linear, wire wound endless potentiometer is coupled to the vane by
an SS shaft. As the vane turns, it rotates a stainless steel shaft which is
coupled to the potentiometer. This potentiometer has excellent
linearity, very low starting torque.
The north of the wind vane is marked on its body. This line is to be
aligned with actual North with the help of prismatic compass, at the
time of installation. Sensor gives minimum resistance at North (i.e., 0
degree approximately 20 ohms ). The resistance output linearly
proportional to the position of the wind vane

Principle Of Operation: Thin film capacitance type sensor.
Humidity sensor features an improved design to provide highly
accurate and rapid measurements. The humidity sensor is a thin film
capacitor element. A dielectric polymer absorbs water molecules from
the air through a thin metal electrode and this causes a capacitance
change proportional to humidity. The response is essentially linear. A
sintered filter is provided to protect the sensor element from dirt,
atmospheric pollutant and water condensation.
A solid state electronic circuit is built in each probe to produce 0 to 1000

M.Volts output signal corresponding to relative humidity value 0 to
100%. The output is single ended.

Introduction The DYNALAB Net Radiometer measures the difference between the
incoming and outgoing Solar radiation on a horizontal surface.

Sensor Two thin metallic films blackened with a special paint ( which has about 98 %
absorption in the entire range ) stuck on the top and bottom of a former about
1 cm thick constitute the sensor. A multi element copper constantan
thermocouple precisely measures the difference of temperature between the
top and bottom surfaces. This difference of temperature is a measure of the
net solar radiation.
The blackened surfaces are protected from rain and dust by very thin molded
polyethylene domes which transmit all
Solar radiation in the 0.3 to 60 micron spectral range . A container with a
desiccant is provided to keep the insides of the domes dry.

Principle Of Operation It uses a tipping bucket mechanism to produce a contact closure

made of stainless steel. Each tip of the bucket produces an on-off
output when the magnet passes over the reed switch.
Other features: Rain gauge is self-recording type with recording facility in
electronics. This has automatic function for computing rainfall for
pre-set time periods.

These methods for measuring ambient concentrations of specified air pollutants have been designated as
"reference methods" or "equivalent methods" in accordance with Title 40, Part 53 of the Code of Federal
Regulations (40 CFR Part 53). Subject to any limitations (e.g., operating range or temperature range) specified in
the applicable designation, each method is acceptable for use in state or local air quality surveillance systems under
40 CFR Part 58 unless the applicable designation is subsequently canceled. Automated methods for pollutants other
than PM10 are acceptable for use only at shelter temperatures between 20°C and 30°C and line voltages between
105 and 125 volts unless wider limits are specified in the method description.
Prospective users of the methods listed should note (1) that each method must be used in strict accordance
with its associated operation or instruction manual and with applicable quality assurance procedures, and (2) that
modification of a method by its vendor or user may cause the pertinent designation to be inapplicable to the method
as modified. (See Section 2.8 of Appendix C, 40 CFR Part 58 for approval of modifications to any of these methods
by users.)
Further information concerning particular designations may be found in the Federal Register notice cited
for each method or by writing to the Center for Environmental Measurements and Modeling, Air Methods and
Characterization Division (MD-D205-03), U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Research Triangle Park, North
Carolina 27711. Technical information concerning the methods should be obtained by contacting the source listed
for each method. Source addresses are listed at the end of the listing of methods, except for the addresses for lead
method sources, which are given with the method. New analyzers or PM10 samplers sold as reference or equivalent
methods must carry a label or sticker identifying them as designated methods. For analyzers or PM10 samplers sold
prior to the designation of a method with the same or similar model number, the model number does not necessarily
identify an analyzer or sampler as a designated method. Consult the manufacturer or seller to determine if a
previously sold analyzer or sampler can be considered a designated method or if it can be upgraded to designation
status. Analyzer users who experience operational or other difficulties with a designated analyzer or sampler and
are unable to resolve the problem directly with the instrument manufacturer may contact EPA (preferably in writing)
at the above address for assistance.
This list will be revised as necessary to reflect any new designations, modifications of existing designations,
or any cancellation of a designation currently in effect. The most current revision of the list will be available for
inspection at EPA's Regional Offices, and copies may be obtained at the Internet site identified above or by writing

Overview
Based on microprocessor technology, the Dynamic Dilution Calibrator is developed for calibrating the gas analyzer and it
supports multi-path calibration. Equipped with high-accuracy mass flow controller and standard gas, this system can
provide calibration gas for zero point and span inspection of multiple gas components such as O 3 , NO, NO 2 , CO, SO 2 ,
Benzene, Toulene, Ethyl benzene, Xylene etc. Upto 4 gas sources can be provided.
Built-in programmable ozone generator is available optionally with the dynamic dilution calibrator. It can be used to calibrate

PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION:
DYNALAB anemometer is a fast response, low threshold opto electronic anemometer. When rotated by wind, a
chopper on the anemometer shaft interrupts an infra red light source , generating pulses from a photo transistor.

PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION :
The sensor used for measurement is an RTD ( PT 1000). Here the resistance of the element varies with
temperature (increases with temperature), approximately 3.9 ohms/degree Celsius. The weather shield Is
provided to avoid direct heating of the sensor by sun’s radiation and to protect it from rain and snow.

Humidity sensor features an improved design to provide highly accurate and rapid measurements. The
humidity sensor is a thin film capacitor element. A dielectric polymer absorbs water molecules from the air
through a thin metal electrode and this causes a capacitance change proportional to humidity. The response is
essentially linear. A sintered filter is provided to protect the sensor element from dirt, atmospheric pollutant
and water condensation.A solid state electronic circuit is built in each probe to produce 0 to 1000 M.Volts
output signal corresponding to relative humidity value 0 to 100 %. The output is single ended.

Dynalab Solar radiation sensor DWR 8101 is class II pyranometer as per WMO specifications
The pyranometer measures radiation received on a horizontal surface from both the sun and the sky. When
exposed to radiation, the temperature of the blackened horizontal surface rises. The equilibrium temperature
reached by this blackened surface is a measure of the radiation. This temperature is measured by a thermopile.
A thin metallic film blackened with a special paint (which is the sensor. A multi element copper constantan
thermopile is in thermal contact with this thin metal film. Alternate junctions of this thermopile are in thermal
contact with the massive body of the instrument at ambient temperature which serves as the cold junction. This
way a millivolt output proportional to the radiation received develops across the thermopile. the instrument has
a time constant less than 25 seconds.The Pyranometer is calibrated against a secondary standard whose
accuracy can be traced to international standards

It uses a tipping bucket mechanism to produce a contact closure every time it receives a predetermined
quantity of rainfall . The body and funnel are made of FRP (Fiber glass Reinforced Plastic), rim is made of gun
metal. All parts having contact with water are made of stainless steel. Each tip of the bucket produces an on-off
output when the magnet passes over the reed switch.
Optional heater can be provided for operation below freezing point.

Optional : Table top model
The Datalogger samples sensor data every 5 seconds(other sampling times possible) and
stores the same in the Datalogger. The same is averaged over a preset interval ( set from keyboard from 1
Min to 60 Min or more). This data can be downloaded from the Datalogger through the serial port provided.
It is possible top connect a radio modem
or a normal telephone modem to the serial port. The data can be downloaded to a PC at the base station by
sending message with an address.
The data also can be stored in a memory module (min 256 K battery backed) through the
parallel port. The transmitted data can be directly imported in to an Excel file.
The sensors are mounted on a mast as per the requirement of the user. We provide cross arms for mounting
the sensors.
The Datalogger and the modem , memory module and the battery (12 V 7,5 AH MF)
can be mounted inside a weather proof enclosure .
A solar cell charger can be provided for the system so that the system can work unattended.
NetBox
The NetBox is a dual chain outdoor AP/CPE/Point-to-Point device with
RP-SMA connectors for antennas, and a cable hood for protection against
moisture. This device supports the new 802.11ac standard for increased
wireless speed (866Mbit datarate, and 20/40/80MHz channels).
The case can be opened with one hand, and is protected against the
elements. Ethernet and a Grounding wire exits are provided on the bottom,
behind a protective door.
Comes with a mounting loop for tower/pole mounting, and a separate DIN
rail mount is also provided. Package also includes a PoE injector and power
supply unit.
