NARRATIVE REPORT

TREE PLANTING

An environmental program like this one was

developed by SIGA Club as a way to protect the environment,
with a focus on educating students and the communities that
surround them. Health, water and sanitation, environmental
awareness, and tree planting are all aspects of this initiative,
with a focus on multipurpose plants and species, particularly
fruit trees for nutrition in schools.
The environmental objective of our club is to investigate
contemporary issues and develop an environment-conscious
intellectual community. We discussed solutions when pupils
observed soil erosion on the school grounds caused by trees
that had been cut down for new development or to establish
our school.
We imparted life skills through gardening and tree planting. By taking
care of the plants, the students learned responsibility. They also improved
their interpersonal skills, leadership abilities, and self confidence. As
students saw interactions between plants, animals, the soil, and the
weather, they also improved their observational skills.
We construct a garden out of rocks in a box shape so that we can
plant some magnificent plants and papaya trees (fruit bearing trees),
which will benefit both the environment and the students, as our club's
primary goal is to develop a garden that can assist the students to have a
healthy environment to help them to relax and be stress free.
