 Introduction

Felege Elders Development Association is a nongovernmental

organization, registered under Federal Civil Societies Agency on 2016 G.C
and helping abandoned elders who have no relatives and leaving on a street
in regards food, shelter, cloth and medication.
Based on this, Felege Elders Development Association has been
implementing a project called UPSNJP by signing an agreement with The
Federal Ministry of Women And Social Affairs to provide temporary
shelter, food, medication, counseling and reunification for target groups
(64 homeless elders) among these beneficiaries 58 (fifty eight) elders
reunified with their families and the remaining 6 (six) homeless decided
to stay in the center until the project ended.The organization is
accomplished project activates accordingly.

Objectives
 To provide temporary care and support to elders in the center.
 To improve the provision, materials, moral support, and psychological
support for homeless elders.
 To Improve health for homeless elders.
 Giving skill training for homeless elders in the center.
Activities that planned to accomplished for 3 month on the
project life.

Felege Elders Development Association has been implementing a

project called URBAN PRODUCTIVE SAFETY NET PROJECT(UPSNP) by
signing an agreement with The Federal Ministry of Women and Social
Affairs and has accomplished a lot of activities.

Based on this, the organization helped 64 homeless elders by providing

temporary shelter, food, medication, psychosocial support and counseling
in the center for 3 month. Among this 58 elders reunified with their
families.

On the other hand, 6 (six) homeless elders those who have no families and
relative had been decided to stay on the center. By considering this Felege
elders Development Association have willingness to support elders by
providing food, shelter, medication, psychosocial support and counseling
service up to the project ended.

 Conclusion

In General, 6 (six) homeless elders that who don’t have families and relative
have willingness to stay in the center and the organization also decided to
support the elders in the center by providing shelter, food, medication,
psychosocial support and counseling and skill training as well until the
project life .
