As he looks at himself in the mirror many feelings rush to his head, they are vaguely upsetting but

they aggravate something in him, when swimming with his friends, it makes him embarrassed,
always turning red.
When he goes to the beach, he wears a t-shirt, the blistering heat makes him wet, but he still hasn't
gone into the water yet. When he musters up the courage to swim in the water the t-shirt sticks to
him, frantically he loosens his t-shirt from his skin, he wonders to himself why does it have to be this
hard to swim?
His back was always sore, he always struggled upstairs, and there were plenty of bullies, he tried to
ignore, they used to call him names like a bear.
The feelings inside him were beyond bothering, but something had to change, then and there he
decided to undergo a remodelling.
Life being overweight has never been easy, sacrificing food, it wasn't going to be easy, like a smoker
getting off the darts, it would be nothing breezy.
TV turned to exercise, soft drinks to water, fast food to healthy foods, all this was influencing his
mood, but he had the bigger picture in his mind, did he want girls to like him more, or were they
going to stay blind?
He changed his whole environment for what? No physical change, could he stay motivated, or would
he become eternally trapped in the rut?
Stepping on the scale became a daily habit, like brushing his teeth, slowly dropping down,
confidence levels were arising, and he started gaining respect from his peers, it was somewhat
surprising.
He started looking at himself in the mirror with a smile, this was the first time he had in a while, his
happiness amounting, his weight loss was astounding.
Girls were looking at him being nice, and he still had cravings, like fries, but as he got slight, he came
into his skin, he felt he was in a race and he was about to win.
His confidence was at an all-time high, things had finally changed, he woke up in the morning with a
smile rather than feeling like he was about to cry, he was still the same man on the inside, he
remained unchanged.
