To Whom It May Concern:

It is with great pleasure to write this letter of recommendation on behalf of Mayline

Perez. I have known Mayline for three years and she has proven to be focused,
hard-working, responsible, and organized. Further, she is diligent about completing her
assignments and seeks help and guidance when needed. Additionally, she is
considerate, passionate, and is highly sensitive to the needs of her peers.

Mayline is pursuing her academic goals and living Nova Academy’s SLOs as a lifelong
learner. Mayline has taken five Advance Placement classes, five honors classes, and
has been on the Principal’s List. Additionally, Mayline has received the Distinguished
Eagle Award honoring her academic achievements and the Soaring Eagle Award
acknowledging her citizenship, positive attitude and ability to work with her peers.
Further, Mayline is on track to graduate this May.

While Mayline continues her studies to receive her high school diploma, she has also
attended Santa Ana Community College completing three classes. Further, she plans to
join the Army.

Mayline is a highly motivated individual. For example, she was an active member of
ASB for three years serving as secretary, helped the Ambassadors with events, and on
the Nova volleyball team. Mayline was the first recipient of the Nova Varsity Letter.
Additionally, while attending high school and taking college courses, she has
volunteered numerous hours at Nova for such events as Bank to School Night and
Open House.

Mayline is passionate, creative, and determined. She will most definitely be an asset to
any organization and institution and I am very proud of her perseverance and dedication
to excellence.

Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions.

Sincerely,

Marilyn Carmody, Social Studies Teacher
