Classification of Vegetables
Vegetables can be classified based on the part of the plant that is used for food. Here are some common categories of
vegetables:

radishes, and beets.

6. Green Vegetables: This category includes various leafy greens such as broccoli, Brussels sprouts, and collard
greens.
7. Pods and Seeds: These vegetables are characterized by their edible pods or seeds. Examples include peas, beans,
and corn.
8. Baby Vegetables: Baby vegetables are harvested when they are still small and tender. They can come from various
plant parts, such as baby carrots or baby corn.
