Conceptual framework

This study focuses on the perceptions of student’s regarding the usefulness of

internet and the gadgets, this frame work shows of how we will conduct our research,

researcher’s research is through interview on what is their perception on the

Statement of problem

This study aims to know the Perceptions of the students about the usefulness

of the internet and gadgets in their studies in Pampanga Institute Inc. and do they

know the usefulness of gadgets and internet in their studies?

Scope and Delimitation

The focus of this research work is the perception of students regarding the

usefulness of the internet and gadgets in their studies. The target respondents are the

junior high and senior high school students inside Pampanga Institute Inc. at

Poblacion, Masantol Pampanga. Regardless of religions, financial and educational

background.

The researchers have decided that the limit of the covered gadgets inside the

research are laptop, smartphone, tablets, and computer which students mostly using in

their studies. The researchers will be asking the respondents a few questions about

their perception and how they felt about the advantage and disadvantages of gadgets

and internet. This strengthens the theory of which most of the students will perceive

that gadgets and the internet conveys a lot of advantages rather than its disadvantages.

Significance of the study

This aims to know the Perceptions of the students on the usefulness of the

internet and gadgets in their studies. The researchers believe that this study will not

only yield data that will be helpful to students. More so to the following groups of the

people:

researchers to have ideas and knowledge about the Perceptions of students regarding

just for gaming and surfing it can be used also for advance learning and presentable

learning experience.

Methodology

Research Design

Qualitative research relies on data obtained by the researcher from first-hand

observation, interviews, questionnaires, focus groups, participant - observation,

recordings made in natural settings, documents, and artifacts. The data are generally

non-numerical.

Qualitative research involves collecting and analyzing non-numerical data (e.g., text,

video, or audio) to understand concepts, opinions, or experiences. It can be used to

gather in-depth insights into a problem or generate new ideas for research.

The type of research that the researchers used is the Phenomenology. The

researchers chose to use the phenomenology for the reason that it will help the

researchers understand how do the students lived while using internet and gadgets. It

rely on knowing what the students had experience in terms of using the internet and

gadgets in their lives. The researchers wants to know how the internet affect their way

of studying as well as using the gadgets in their academic work as a student.

Population and Population Size


The data that the researchers have gathered are taken form the selected

students of grade 9, 10 and 11 from Pampanga Institute Inc. with the total of three (3)

participants.

The researchers have used the convenience method to choose participants for

the study because of its convenience to the researchers.

Description of the participants

The participants of this study are the selected junior and senior high school

students from Pampanga Institute Inc.

Research Instrument

The researchers conducted an online interview for the participants with the

guided questionnaire.

Research Procedure

An online interview was conducted to the selected students of Pampanga

Institute Inc. The selected participants had the key informants by using the

convenience sampling wherein the participants shares a particular characteristic of

research interest with the target population.

Summary, conclusion and Recommendation

Summary

In summary the students know that the internet and gadgets are useful. They

also aware of that. For them internet and gadgets became a need in terms of

schooling. The gadgets and internet also make their study easier. Their perceptions

about this study are gadgets and internet are very useful to help the students get the

lesson quickly and easily.

In question number 01 which asked “What are your perceptions on the

usefulness of internet and gadgets in your studies?” The participants have shared

their perception regarding the usefulness of gadgets and internet in their studies like it

can be an advantage for studying and an opportunity to learn in many different ways

especially when a student knows the capability of using gadgets and internet in their

studies. For this reason, students perceived the truth that using gadgets and internet in

their studies has a lot more to offer than not using any.

Conclusion

Finally, the perceptions of students have gotten which shows how important it

is to use gadgets and internet in their studies that saves their time and learns and an

advance way. The student’s perception elucidates all the possible advantages of using

gadgets and internet that makes studying much easier. With gadgets and internet, the

students said, makes studying more efficient and effective especially to those times

where a student struggling in understanding a certain lesson. The students knows the

capability of gadgets and internet that they have agreed with, they perceives that they

acquire knowledge and gets happiness by just searching and discovering.
