Christmas is the feast of Christians commemorated annually by Christians on
December 25 to commemorate the day of Jesus Christ's birth. Christmas is celebrated in the evening worship on December 24th; and worship the morning of December 25th. Some Orthodox churches celebrate Christmas on January 6 (see Epifani). In western tradition, Christmas commemorations also contain non-religious aspects. Some of the Christmas traditions that originate in the West among others are the Christmas tree, Christmas cards, the exchange of gifts between friends, and family members and stories about Santa Klaus or Sinterklas. Deepavali Day begins with applying sesame oil over the head and body to cool down, followed by a prayer ceremony with family members at home and getting the blessing of parents and parents before going to the temple. Everyone will wear new clothes, share sweets specially prepared for Deepavali as well as visit the homes of relatives and friends.
