ICT 10– BEC (Regular Curriculum)

Final Performance Task: VIDEO ON CONNECTING COMPUTER PERIPHERALS

TASK FOR APRIL 22-23, 2024 (Monday-Tuesday)

Good morning, I may not be able to attend our class for today up until the 30th of the month
for the next two days I’ll be a facilitator in conduct of the RSPC preparation at Santiago West
Central School. Your TASK for the above-mentioned dates will be:

1. Continuation of the creation of the Video Presentation on Connecting Computer

Peripherals which will be your final performance task in our class.
2. You will have 2 days to work on the said activity, so there is no reason not to finish your
final performance task.
3. The deadline for submission will be on FRIDAY. April 26, 2024. There will be no more
extensions after the said date.
4. For those who are done with the said activity please make sure to go over, read, and
comprehend the different lessons given earlier in our module. If you must, please
take note of the different concepts and lessons in your notebook.

Please be reminded that you cannot use the Cyber Room for the said dates (April 22-26,
2024), because I will not be there to supervise the class. Use the other class assigned for
your group or you may ask for the other TLE teachers to permit you to join their class, if you
will not cause further disturbances in their classes. Please ask the teachers for permission
nicely.

Also, forward a LIST OF ATTENDANCE in our GC every day within the week. I’ll be constantly
monitoring your attendance from our GC.

TASK FOR APRIL 24-26, 2024 (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday)

Your tasks for these dates are the following:

TASK 1, April 24, 2024
1. Since the topic for discussion for our next meetings will focus on the different parts
of the System Unit and a review of the different computer peripherals used in our
PC, please try to go over the activity: WHAT TO REFLECT/UNDERSTAND on pages 54-
55.
2. Make sure that you learn ALL the concepts regarding: motherboards, CPU sockets
and CPU as well, PC Memory, Display Devices, and other input devices.
3. ANSWER the questions that follow, after watching the different links in the video.
4. NOTE: Part of your exam is that you should be able to identify ALL PARTS of the
SYSTEM UNIT. This will cover part of the lesson; however, you should still have to
RESEARCH the other parts as well.
TASK 2, April 25, 2024
1. Since most of the exams will cover the TOPIC of INSTALLLATION OF HARDWARE
COMPONENTS AND OTHER PERIPHERALS, review on the topic on your module on
pages 73-87.
