BBCA ECF Rated Rapid – April 2024

Six Rounds of Rapid Games

Date and time: Saturday, 27-April-2024 from 10 am to 3 pm
Venue: Micro Business Park Hall 50B Greatorex St, London, E1 5NP

Time Control: 10 minutes per player with an increment of 5 seconds per move. Sections: Two
separate sections based on ECF Rapid Rating (01-Apr-2024)
OPEN: All players
MAJOR: Players with ECF Rating 1600 or below
(Standard rating may be used if rapid rating is not available)

Entry Fee: £15 for BBCA members and juniors, £20 for others.

Cash Prizes:
1st Prize 2nd Prize Rating Prize

OPEN £60 £40 £25 (below 1800)

MAJOR £60 £40 £25 (below 1400)

Prizes will be shared in case of tie.

An unrated players may win only 50% of the prize money.
ECF Membership:

At least ECF Silver membership is required. Otherwise, an additional £10 fee will be charged.

You may pay a cash entry fee to BBCA president Mazed Biswas or Organizing Secretary Ashraf
Nannu on Sundays at the club until Sunday 21 April.

To complete the registration process, after the payment of entry fee, a player must send their first
and last names, ECF rating code and Mobile number by email to BBCA Chief Adviser Abu Hasan
at hasanamm52@gmail.com.

We have only 50 places to offer and we will follow a First Come First Served policy. A cash payment
of £25 will be accepted on the day entry if places are still available.

Travel:

The venue is a 5-10 minutes’ walk from Whitechapel, Aldgate East and Aldgate underground stations
which are served by Elizabeth, London Overground, District, Hammersmith & City, Metropolitan and
Circle Line trains.

Others:

Tournament controller will be Fide Arbiter Mohammad Rezaul Islam

FIDE rapid play rules will be applied. In any dispute, the arbiter’s decision will be final.

BBCA has got the right to modify the format and the prize structure of the tournament.
