Made by popular brands like Vans or Converse,
streetwear is a synonym for sportswear clothing that
supports the use of logos.
Although streetwear can be a part of somebody’s
street style, these are different terms. Street style is
the process of documenting the style of anyone on
the street, usually snapped by somebody owning
an iPhone. You will be right to notice that the «style»
element is often missing.
Jumper, pullover, sweater and jersey
While «pullover» does not need much explanation, the
origins of the word «jumper» are unclear. This word
possibly goes as far back as the Arabic «jubba» for outer
clothing, but in Britain it is synonymous with «pullover». In
the US, on the other hand, it means a type of girl’s dress –
a top with attached shorts.
