I. Giới từ chỉ thời gian (Prepositions of time)

At + giờ
At 5 o’clock
On + thứ / ngày

In + tháng / năm / mùa / thế kỷ / các buổi
trong ngày
In June (vào tháng 6)

At noon (vào buổi trưa)

At night (vào ban đêm)
At the moment = at present (ngay bây giờ)

At sunrise (vào lúc bình minh)
At sunset (vào lúc hoàng hôn)

II. Giới từ chỉ nơi chốn (prepositions of place)

At: tại (dùng cho nơi chốn nhỏ như trường học, sân bay..)
Ex: She is at the airport.
In: bên trong / tại (nơi chốn lớn như thành phố, tỉnh, quốc gia, châu lục)
Ex: I live in Vietnam.
Opposite: đối diện
