TIPS/REMINDERS FOR EDITING THE FINAL DRAFT OF YOUR SBA

Ensure that the following is in order:

1. SBA is presented as a WORD document.

2. SBA is presented in:


- Double line spacing or 1.5 spacing
- Font size 13
- Font style: Calibri; Times New Roman or Arial (NOT Arial black or other
fonts that make it difficult to read. Use only one font).

3. Research is written in the past tense.

4. You did NOT use first person discourse. For e.g. “I” or “me”. Instead, you have
used terms such as “the researcher, the writer or the investigator”.

5. Chapter/Task titles are CORRECTLY stated. (You may use a slightly larger font
size and bold them).

6. You have EDITED your work thoroughly and properly. (Proof read - Check on
proper spelling, punctuation, paragraphing etc. Ensure that your work reads
WELL, before you submit your final copy to your teacher).

7. Ensure that Cover Page; Title Page; Acknowledgement; Table of Contents;


Bibliography etc. are CORRECTLY done. (Remember you get marks for
presenting these PROPERLY.)

8. All pages are numbered and EACH Task/ Chapter listed in the Table of Contents
has the CORRECT page #.

9. You do NOT go over the work limit (approx. 1200 words). Do a word count and
adjust if needs be.

Order of Information in Project

A. COVER PAGE
It MUST include the following information:
- Year of Examination
- Subject
- Candidate #
- Candidate Name
- Name of School
- Territory
- Teacher’s Name
- Title of the Project

B. TITLE PAGE
Type the title of your project ONLY.

C. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

D. TABLE OF CONTENTS

E. TASKS/CHAPTERS 1-9

F. BIBLIOGRAPHY
