Daughter of Grace

 Medusa is well known but misunderstood.


 She summons forth images of a terrible and cruel monster but she was not always this
way.
 Medusa was the daughter of Phorcys and Ceto (sea gods of Greek Mythology)
 She was born on the island of Sarpedon and was one of three sisters.
 Medusa was a beautiful maiden whose grace was well known and was desired greatly
by many men.
 Despite this, Medusa forged herself to the Goddess Athena, forgoing any male attention
that was required of Athena’s priestesses.
 She was so attractive in fact that even Goddess Athena was jealous.
 Things would escalate however when the God Poseidon laid eyes upon Medusa and
everything changed.
 Poseidon set about making Medusa his own.
 Medusa was later seduced by Poseidon.
 Medusa was devastated by the events and turns Athena for help and support.
 Medusa was cast aside by Athena.
 The Goddess is furious with her priestess for no longer being a virgin.
 Medusa was cursed by being turned into a monster, a terrible beast with bronze hands
and wings and a venomous
