" Ella's gentle voice reverberated against the walls

of his mind. Distant...distorted... unfocused was how he was hearing her voice, yet
he eventually broke from his trance.
"As I thought. It's really you" Even without looking up Xenon could hear the smile
in his assailant's voice.
"Hey what are you guys doing?" At this, Xenon gently closed his eyes and took a
deep breath which he released some seconds later. He finally mustered the little
self-control he had and removed the hand which still held his arm.

Ella's gentle voice echoed in Xenon's mind, sounding distant and distorted. He
finally broke from his trance and realized it was really her. Without looking up,
he could hear the smile in her voice as she asked, "Hey, what are you guys doing?"
