Abstract-
In urban areas like Bengaluru, efficient public transportation systems are critical for
addressing traffic congestion, reducing environmental impact, and enhancing overall
mobility. This study focuses on developing a comprehensive model for selecting integrated
public transportation options for commuting between Bengaluru North and Bengaluru
Central. The model aims to optimize travel time, cost-effectiveness, and user convenience by
integrating various modes of transportation such as buses, metro. The proposed model
incorporates multiple factors including distance, travel time, frequency of services, ticket
prices, accessibility to stations, and potential transfers between different modes of
transportation. The development of this integrated public transportation selection model for
Bengaluru North to Bengaluru Central holds significant promise in improving the overall
efficiency and sustainability of urban mobility in Bengaluru. By providing commuters with
reliable, cost-effective, and convenient transportation options, the model can contribute to
reducing reliance on private vehicles, mitigating traffic congestion, and promoting a greener
urban environment.
