ISEE QUIZ is conceptualized to encourage people to access and make themselves familiar
with the Indian Elevator (lift), Escalator and Moving Walk standards.

1. The Organizers are ISEEVENTUS Pvt. Ltd., A303 Galleria, Hiranandani Gardens, Powai, Mumbai
400076, India and their representative as may be appointed.
2. The Competition is ISEE QUIZ 2024.
3. PARTICIPATION AND REGISTRATION: The participating team / competing team shall consist of 2
individuals and is referred to as Team. The individuals must be residents of India aged 18 years or
above and who work for the same company, organisation or entity.
i. Those interested to join, must apply online for the quiz competition on the quiz webpage
available on www.isee-expo.com & http://www.eest.in/quiz/.
ii. Employees of ISEEVENTUS Pvt. Ltd., TAK Consulting Pvt. Ltd., Elevator & Escalator Safety Trust and
working members of the P4 Panel of the ET 25 committee of the Bureau of Indian Standards
may not participate.
iii. Up to 5000 Teams may register on a first cum basis.
iv. Multiple Teams may register from the same company, organisation or entity with prior
approval from their employers.
v. An individual shall represent only one Team. Multiple entries from the same person will lead to
the team being disqualified.
vi. A registration entry that is incomplete or inaccurate shall be rejected.
vii. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
viii. All semi-finalists must share a self-certified photocopy of their Pan Card. The prizes will be
awarded to the Winners only after receipt of the above document.
ix. Dates for the online entry is under the quiz schedules under Clause 5.
x. The registration fee for the Quiz is Rs. 500/- per team. Fee for the Quiz will be donated to the
Elevator & Escalator Safety Trust (EEST) and shall be made directly online to EEST while
registering.
xi. By registering for this competition, the individuals of the team collectively and solely confirm
a) his/her agreement to be unconditionally bound by these terms and conditions
b) that due approval has been obtained from his / her employer.
c) that the lead person carrying out the registration process takes total responsibility for the
second team member’s agreement to be part of the team.

5. QUIZ COMPETITION SCHEDULE

i. Registration: May 1st, 2024 to August 15th 2024
ii. The window for the Sample Question and Participant engagement is from September 05 -
September 19, 2024
iii. Qualifier Round I on Friday, September 20, 2024
iv. Qualifier Round II on Friday, October 04, 2024
v. Eliminator Round on Friday, October 18, 2024.
vi. Semifinals on December 06, 2024
vii. Grand Finale on December 07, 2024.
6. QUIZ PROCESS AND ROUNDS
INTRUCTIONS TO TAKE PART IN THE ONLINE ROUNDS
Please note that all the online rounds are to be attempted by the teams using a single device,
with both the participants taking part from the same location. In the event both the participants
are unable to join at the same time, one team member can be nominated to represent the team
and the same member alone should attempt the quiz. Only one attempt per team.
Qualifier Rounds I (QR I)
a) The first round of the quiz will be conducted on a dedicated online quiz platform integrated
within the competition website.
b) The quiz will be open from a specific time till a specific time.
c) Open a browser on your laptop and go to www.isee-expo.com.
d) Log in with the team leader’s registered email id. After logging in, click on the “START THE QUIZ”
button.
e) There are 30 Questions & Each question must be answered in 30 seconds.
f) There is a TIMER at the top right corner
g) Don’t forget to SUBMIT your answers at the end.
h) Detailed step-by-step instructions on how to take part in QR-I will be emailed to all participating
teams ahead of the quiz.
i) Helpdesk contact details will be shared with all participating teams.
j) All the questions will be related to the Indian standards for elevators and escalators.
k) From QR I, the top-scoring 50% of the teams will qualify for QR II.
Qualifier Rounds II (QR II)
a) The second round will be conducted on the same quiz platform as QR I.
b) The quiz will be open from a specific time till a specific time.
c) Open a browser on your laptop and go to www.isee-expo.com.
d) Log in with the username and password that was mailed to you after registration. After logging
in, click on the “START THE QUIZ” button.
e) There are 50 Questions & Each question must be answered in 40 seconds.
f) There is a TIMER at the top right corner
g) Don’t forget to SUBMIT your answers at the end.
h) Detailed step-by-step instructions on how to take part in QR-II will be emailed to all
participating teams ahead of the quiz.
i) Helpdesk contact details will be shared with all participating teams.
j) All the questions will be related to the Indian standards for elevators and escalators.
k) From QR II, the top-scoring 100 teams will qualify for the Eliminator Round.
Eliminator Round (ER)
a) The eliminator round will be conducted on Kahoot – a popular gaming platform and will be
streamed using Zoom platform.
b) The quiz will be hosted live by a professional quizmaster.
c) The questions will be configured on Kahoot and will include questions in multiple-choice and
type-the-answer formats.

d) A unique Game PIN will be shared with all participants by the Quizmaster.
e) Open a web browser on your laptop, computer, or smartphone and go to www.kahoot.it (no
need to download the Kahoot App).
f) Enter the Game PIN that has been provided to you, and follow the guidelines from the
Quizmaster to enter the Name.
g) Please wait for the quizmaster to commence the quiz.
h) If you are new to Kahoot, don't worry; there will be a couple of warm-up questions to help you
become more comfortable with the platform.
i) Helpdesk contact details will be shared with all participating teams.
j) All the questions will be related to the Indian standards for elevators and escalators.
k) From this round, the top-scoring 18 teams will qualify for the National rounds (Semifinals and
Grand Finale) which will be held offline, during the ISEE 2024 EXPO.
l) A few more teams maybe kept on waitlist, in the event any of the qualified teams is/are unable
to make it to the semifinals.
NATIONAL ROUNDS (OFFLINE MODE)
a) The 18 teams that qualified from the online rounds will be invited to take part in the national
rounds to be held at ISEE 2024 in Hall 2, Bombay Exhibition Centre.
b) The national rounds will involve 3 semifinals and a grand finale.
c) There will be 3 semifinals, The teams for each of the semi-finals shall be grouped at random. (no
discussion on the grouping shall be entertained)
d) The 2 winning teams from each semifinal round shall progress to the grand finale.
e) The grand finale will witness an intense battle between the 6 best teams from across the
country.
f) Both the semifinals and the grand finale will be hosted by Quizmaster Venky Srinivasan from
Nexus Consulting.
7. TRAVEL AND ACCOMODATION: The Organizer shall provide qualifying semifinalists living outside
the MMRDA limits economy air tickets or AC Chair car (when distance is less than 700kms), 3-star
twin sharing lodging and boarding from December 4th, 2024 to December 7th, 2024 and local
transport (airport / station transfers, hotel to venue and back) during the expo. In the eventuality
team members are of different sex, they shall be provided individual rooms.
8. PRIZE MONEY AND DISTRIBUTION
i. Total INR 5 lakhs to the winning team + Code Maha Guru Trophy to Employer
ii. Total INR 3 Lakhs to the first runner up team + Code Maha Guru Trophy to Employer
iii. Total INR 1 Lakh to the second runner up team + Code Maha Guru Trophy to Employer
iv. INR 10,000/- to the losing semi-finalists and losing finalists
(subject to deduction of TDS as per the prevailing norms)
The Organizers are not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third
party.
The prize money cheques must be collected at the end of the ISEE QUIZ finals at the venue of
ISEE 2024. The prizes are not transferable and must be collected in person and promptly deposited.
There is no facility of mailing / couriering the cheques.
The prize money will go to the individual participants. The winning trophy will go to the Company.
The Organizers shall take no responsibility for names mis-spelt during registration.
9. CONDITIONS FOR THE DISTRIBUTION OF PRIZES TO WINNERS
The Organizer of the quiz stipulates that prizes must be accepted as offered, reserving the right to
substitute prizes of equal value if necessary. In cases where winners are unable to accept their
prizes, alternate winners may be selected. If there are insufficient entries, the number of prizes
may be reduced. Unclaimed prizes after 30 days will be cancelled, with the option to award them
to other winners or revoke them. The Organizer disclaims responsibility for endorsed products or
services, and makes no express or implied warranties regarding prize quality or suitability.

10. OTHER TERMS

i. The Organizers are not responsible for any malfunction of the entire Quiz Site or any late, lost,
damaged, misdirected, incomplete, illegible, undeliverable, answers to system errors, failed,
incomplete or garbled computer or other telecommunication transmission malfunctions, net
work connectivity problems, hardware, or software failures of any kind.
ii. The Organizers reserve the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and
conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of
God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or relevant
guidance relating to the coronavirus pandemic or any other event outside of the Organizer’s
control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the
Organizer.
iii. The winner(s) and all participants agree to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity
material, as well as their entry. The Organizers decision as to those able to take part and
selection of winners is final. No correspondence relating to the competition will be entered into.
iv. The Organizers shall have the right, at its sole discretion and at any time, to change or modify
these terms and conditions, such change shall be effective immediately upon posting to the
webpage.
v. The Organizers also reserves the right to cancel the competition if circumstances arise outside
of its control, in which case donations to EEST shall be refunded if the team so desires.
vi. Participants consent to The Organizer collecting, processing, and storing personal data for Quiz
administration, agreeing to data transmission and disclosure as needed.
11. FORUM AND RECOURSE TO JUDICIAL PROCEDURES:
i. This Quiz is governed by the laws of India, and only the courts of Mumbai will have exclusive
jurisdiction to try any dispute arising from this Quiz. By participating in this Quiz, you agree to be
bound by the terms of these Rules and by The Organizer 's decisions, which are final and binding
on all matters pertaining to this Quiz.
ii. If any provision(s) of these Rules are held to be invalid or unenforceable, all remaining
provisions hereof will remain in full force and effect, to the extent permitted by law, the rights to
litigate, seek injunctive relief or make any other recourse to judicial or any other procedure in
case of disputes or claims resulting from or in connection with this Quiz are hereby excluded,
and Participants expressly waive any and all such rights.
iii. ISEEVENTUS decisions regarding this contest will be final and binding. No further
correspondence or appeals in this regard will be entertained
IMPORTANT NOTE:
• The quiz will work best on a PC/laptop. Try not to compete on a mobile phone.
• Click the link sent to your email ID to play the preliminary round.
• Ensure you have a stable internet connection. We will not allow re - attempts.
• Only one attempt is allowed per team.
• Your score will not be shown at the end of the quiz.
• Only qualifiers will be notified.
• No queries for rechecking scores will be taken
• Ties, if any, will be decided based on the overall score AND time taken to complete the quiz
• DO NOT CHEAT. You will be disqualified if you use unfair means.
