CCNA Minor Update v1.1

Products and technologies are evolving faster than ever. To ensure that our certification programs remain
relevant to current practice and keep up with the fast pace of change, we are committed to an annual
review. These reviews result in minor updates, which ensure exam topics are clear, introduce new topics,
and phase out older products and solutions that are less relevant today. The aim is to make the minor
adjustments needed to match the evolution of technologies while ensuring the changes are minimal so
that they do not disrupt a candidate’s study plans.

CCNA just completed its 1.1 minor update to keep the domains closely aligned with today’s commonly
adopted technologies and solutions. In today’s networking world, there is an increasing focus on cloud,
automation, and AI. These shifts are reflected in the v1.1 blueprint with the addition of AI, machine
learning, and Terraform.

Below is a summary of the blueprint changes for CCNA that will go live on August 20, 2024 .
