3.3.5 Installation procedure
Bottom View
Groove Part for Removing Contronller
(1) Insert the edge of the slotted screwdriver into the
groove at the bottom of the holding bracket, push
and turn the slotted screwdriver and then remove the

3.4 Electrical wiring
ATTENTION:Always make sure to turn off the power of the indoor unit when performing electrical wiring work. Performing electrical
wiring work with the power on can damage the circuit boards of the indoor unit and the remote control switch.
M3.5 Screws
● Use a 0.3 to 0.75mm2 cable for connecting. The maximum total cable length is 30m.If the total cable length
exceeds 30m, use a twist pair cable with shield tube(1P-0.75mm or more).In that case, the maximum total cable
length is up to 500m.If using in combination with the control timer, the allowable total cable length is up to 100m.
The use of a cable other than specified above can cause of malfunction due to the effects of noise.
● Keep a distance more than 30cm between the transmission line (remote control switch cable and transmission
wires) and power source of the indoor units. If not, the air-conditioner may not operate properly or malfunction
may occur due to effect of power source noise.
CAUTION
● In case of simultaneously controlling multiple indoor units, set the refrigerant cycle numbers and addresses of
the indoor units without overlapping.
● Refer to the Technical Catalog provided with each indoor unit when performing electrical wiring work between the
remote control switch and indoor units for setting the refrigerant cycle number and the indoor unit address.
● No gap shall exist between the remote control switch cable and hole of the remote control switch case. If there is
a gap, cover the gap with vinyl tape. If not, malfunction may occur due to entrance of water droplets or insects.
● When installation keep the controller at a distance of at least 0.5m from the lamp.
● When installation remote controller should be located at eye-level. It is suggested at the height of around
1.3~1.5m, with angle of viewing within 30°.

3.5 Checking procedure

3.6 Operation instruction

● Hold 『MODE』 and 『TIMER』for 3s to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit.
Humidity
● Auto-Dry mode is valid only when such function is available in the indoor unit. Please contact
the dealer for details.
● When connected a dehumidifier with 3-level Dry, the left lower corner shows target humidity value in Dry mode, and only
temperature value can be adjusted. Please contact the dealer for details.

● Air volume is adjustable during Dry operation, but it is defaulted at Low by indoor unit.
● Depending on the types of connected indoor units, Auto mode can display when controlling certain indoor units by wired
remote controller. Please contact the dealers for details.
● AUTO can be set only when this function is available in the indoor unit.
Louver
Attention ● Louver will not display when connected with an indoor unit without louver.
● Louver will not display when connected with an indoor unit without louver.

● Options of louver setting may vary along with the types of indoor units. Please refer to the manual of indoor unit for
details.
● When the louver is in operation, location display on LCD may not exactly match with the actual location.
● Sometimes the louver may not stop immediately after pressing the key.

Attention ● The icon of Sleep does not display when connected with an indoor unit without this
function. Sleep function invalids when temperature or air volume is restricted.
● When setting to Sleep mode by remote controller, the air volume is at Low, which can be adjusted during Sleep mode.
● Sleep mode is canceled when the air conditioner is switched OFF.
● Sleep mode is canceled when operation mode is changed.
● Sleep mode is canceled when timer power-off is canceled.
● In Sleep mode, timing duration can be adjusted.

Quiet
Attention ● The icon of Quiet does not display when connected with an indoor unit without this
function. Quiet may be invalid when air volume is restricted.
● When setting to Quiet by remote controller, the air volume remains at current level and non-adjustable. Indoor unit will
set volume.
● Quiet mode is canceled when the air conditioner is switched OFF.
● Quite mode is canceled when operation mode is changed.

ECO
Attention ● The icon of ECO does not display when connected with an indoor unit without this
function. ECO is not available when air volume or temperature is restricted, and if
ECO function has been set, the function will be canceled automatically by then.
● When setting ECO function by wired remote controller, set air volume and temperature are non-adjustable. Indoor unit
will set air volume and temperature automatically.
● ECO mode is canceled when the air conditioner is switched OFF.
● ECO mode is canceled when the operation mode is changed.

Electric Heater
Attention ● The icon of Electric Heater does not display when connected with an indoor unit

● Wind Free is available only in FAN, COOL, HEAT, and DRY modes.
● Wind Free is canceled when the air conditioner is switched OFF.
● Wind Free is canceled when setting of FAN or LOUV is changed.

Self-cleaning
Attention ● The icon of Self-cleaning does not display when connected with an indoor unit
without this function.

● Self-cleaning is available only in OFF state. And when Self-cleaning is completed, the air conditioner will be OFF
automatically.
● Once in Self-cleaning mode, air volume of indoor unit will decrease or there will be no air supply (cool air drifts out during
operation).
● It gives the preferable effect when there is only one indoor unit in Self-cleaning mode in the whole system, and the rest of
indoor units remain in OFF state.
● During self-cleaning, it may give off the sound of cracking, which is a normal phenomenon and will disappear after
cleaning.
● When Self-cleaning exits, there may be steams occasionally, which is a normal.
● Optimum conditions for frost removal: indoor temp >15°C, humidity >60%, outdoor temp at 0~40°C
● When humidity is less than 20%, frost removal will be affected. It is suggested to perform self-cleaning in the transiting
season with high humidity.
● After self-cleaning, there will be air supply at High for a while, which is a normal phenomenon.

When address of indoor unit is flashing, press ∧ ∨ to change address number (target
address number varies from 00 to 63). Then press OK , the indoor unit address stops
flashing, and the 7- segment display shows AH, indicating a successful change of address.
At this point, the refrigerant system number keeps flashing, press ∧ ∨ to change refrigerant

system number (the target system number varies from 00 to 63 and 99). Then press OK ,
the indoor unit refrigerant system number stops flashing, and the 7-segment display shows
AH, indicating a successful change of refrigerant system.
Note:
System "99" is used as a virtual and temporary system number when it runs out of numbers.
It is a must to change it to a number within the normal range.

3.10 Address check operation
When one wireless remote controller connects with more than 2 indoor units and the addresses are unknown, appoint the
indoor unit address to perform separate running in order to make sure of the indoor unit address.

● Address check function does not work when there are two

● During address checking, please do not operate from Confirm the address of target indoor unit

3.11 Address initialization
Use this function to initialize the indoor unit address.
