CCEP VDI login procedures manual

This document collects step-by-step information on how CCEP users are to access the VDI
environment.

Citrix Workspace app installation

Note: if you need admin rights on your device to install the Citrix application please reach out to
your local IT department

Download and install the Citrix Workspace app

Click Start

Accept the license agreement

Click Finish

Receiver Keyboard layout setting

Keyboard layout synchronization enables users to switch among preferred keyboard layouts on the
client device.

From the Citrix Receiver for Windows notification area icon, select Advanced Preferences >
Keyboard and Language bar. The Keyboard and Language bar window appears.

Click Save.

User procedures
• 1. Open a web browser

• 2. Type https://vdi.ccep.com

• 3. User will be redirected to authenticate with user (xxxxxx@ccep.com) and password as

shown in the below screenshot:

• 4. Once the user has introduced the password, will be redirected to enter the 2FA code received
in its mobile device

• 5. Once introduced the code, the user will be redirected to their desktop as shown in the below
screenshot:

• 6. Click on the desktop icon. Depending on your configuration the name seen below the icon can
be different from “CCEP W10”.

• 7. An ICA file will be downloaded.

• 8. Double click on it to get the user desktop:

Prerequisite: The Citrix receiver must be installed. Instructions are described further down in “citrix receiver Installation”

• 9. Click “OK” and enter again your windows credentials to access the VDI

Enabling audio in VDI
By default audio redirection is disabled, If any user required audio redirection need to be enabled, User
should be part of the below group

CCEP\G_CCEP_IBMVDI_AllowAudioRedirection.
