1. Start Revit 2019

2. Open the file Exercise_23.rvt

3. You are at Plumbing / Plumbing / Floor Plans / 00 Ground - Plumbing

4. Start Show Disconnects command, and select Pipe, click OK

5. All warnings are negligible except of the hot water at end of the Ladies room

6. Go to 3D Plumbing view. Locate the pipe, take it out from the T fitting, and
return it back using object snap. The warning should disappear

7. For any other open end, right-click the open end, and select Cap Open End.
You will see that the warning will disappear.

8. Go to Plumbing / Plumbing / Floor Plans / 01 First – Plumbing

9. You will find the two water closet in the Ladies room has two warnings, which
means there is a problem with the connection with the cold water system

10. Go to 3D Plumbing, delete all pipes and fittings connecting the two water closet
to the cold water pipe, and use Connect Into button to rightly connect them

11. Start Show Disconnects command, and deselect the Pipe option and click OK

12. Go to 00 Ground - Plumbing

13. Select the one of the sinks in the Ladies room. From context tab, click System
Inspector button. Select Domestic Hot Water. Click Inspect button. What is the
Flow value in the sink and in the pipe? _____________, _______________

14. Finish Inspect command

15. Go to Plumbing / Plumbing / Floor Plan / 00 Ground – Plumbing

16. Duplicate with Detailing the view and call it 00 Ground – Plumbing - Sizes

17. From Properties, locate System Color Scheme, and click Edit

18. Locate Pipes, and click None button

19. From the left click Pipe Color Fill - Size, click OK twice to end the command

20. Start Pipe Legend command, and insert the legend to the left of the plan

21. Save and close the file
