GE 8: ETHICS
Second Semester, A.Y. 2023-2024

GENERAL MECHANICS FOR THE DOCUMENTARY FILM


Documented Interview defined:
A documented interview is a structured conversation between the interviewees and the interviewers,
aimed at gathering insights and perspectives with regard to the topic of Virtue Ethics topic. The interview is
recorded and supplemented with additional materials to provide a comprehensive understanding of the
discussion.

Recommended Groupings:
The number of group members will be 5 to ensure the relative ease of management and cooperation of
each member. Faculty members may exercise their own discretion regarding the number of members.

Duration:
The interview should have a minimum duration of at least 5 minutes

General guidelines:

● Each group shall conduct a documented interview with their chosen interviewee/s. The interviewee/s
must be limited to the students of the University.
● The interview should be structured around key topics in virtue ethics, such as the concept of virtue, the
interviewee/s basic understanding of the concept, and the role of virtues in ethical decision-making.
● Each group shall document the interview through a video recording and must provide transcripts serving
as their supplementary material for their output. The transcript must be saved on a different document.
● The recommended submission of their Documented Interview must be via Google Drive, however,
faculty members may elect any alternative based on their discretion.
● Submission of the output will be on the instructor’s given due date: Recommended date will not be later
than the FINAL EXAMINATION WEEK (May 6-10, 2024).
