Design Consideration

 Accessibility - Installing ramps and elevators to provide people with

disabilities easy access to the building and between floors. Consider
providing a restroom and parking that is specific to them.
 Sustainability - Installing a rainwater collecting system on the building to
store and recycle rainwater for building uses such as fire department
water, plant watering, cleaning, bathing, or drinking. Energy Efficient
Technological inventions like smart windows that can control diverse
forms of light such as visible light, UV light, and IR and Solar panels will
be utilized to lessen the global carbon dioxide emissions.
 Circulation - Considering the flow of traffic for parking; having a one-way
flow for the driveway and having a separate route for parking and drop off.
Additionally, establishing a walkway for pedestrian use and having two
public entrances in the front and back to reduce traffic between individuals
entering the building.
 Orientation - Considering the sun's path and wind direction for
ventilation. The position and direction of sunrise and sunset are carefully
thought about to combat climatic factors such as solar heat, lighting, poor
ventilation, and noise.
 Safety - provide an emergency exit path and a fire exit for every building.
 Aesthetics - The building’s form, color, symmetry, and patterns will
harmonize simultaneously to bring about a structure that doesn’t only look
stunningly beautiful but can evoke positivity and influence the vision,
mission, and philosophy of the City Hall.
 Security - The position of doors, windows, and sensitive facilities
including Councils. Mayor, and other department offices; additionally a
receptionist each departments mentioned before entering the offices. It
has been thought of as a way to safeguard building occupants against
maltreatment.
 Code Compliance - The building follows the regulations and standards
set forth by governing bodies to safeguard life, health, property, and public
welfare.
 Material - It will include localized components that are recognized in the
area around the building site. Additionally, the use of materials with a high
level of resistance to potential disasters, such as treated timber, concrete,
steel, and glass that can withstand fire.

Design Objectives
 To create an innovative Government Center that unites the city's
VALUES, ASPIRATIONS, and CULTURE (VAC). the objective
emphasizes the importance of creating a Government Center that goes
beyond its functional role and becomes a symbol of the city's identity,
principles, and vision. It should be a place where the community can
gather, participate in civic activities, and be reminded of the values and
aspirations that shape the city's future.
 To provide a cutting-edge ENERGY-EFFICIENCY in building utilities,
underscores the importance of incorporating the sustainable technologies
and practices into the Government Center's infrastructure to reduce
energy consumption, lower costs, and minimize its environmental
footprint.
 To make a seamlessly weaving modern functionality into a RELATABLE
VERNACULAR ARCHITECTURE; blending modern practicality and
technology with the cultural and historical context of the region, creating a
Government Center that is not only functional but also resonates deeply
with the local community's identity and heritage.

Design Philosophy

-The use of 1:12 ratio for ramps and other related standards.
 Parking Slots
- Providing slots for PWD based on the total sizes of the parking
 PWD Height of Handrails
- Handrails have a height of 900mm.
 PWD Toilet
- Providing toilets for them to use comfortably. Providing a handrails as well.
 PWD Distances
- PWDs travelling distance is considered. Make it accessible easily as you
enter the building
