Study on the role and mechanism of exclusive enteral nutrition in intestinal barrier function in Crohn’s disease
based on gut microbiome-bile acid profile Sep 2022-June 2023
 Discovered that exclusive enteral nutrition(EEN) changed the gut microbiota to increase the concentration of gut
lithocholic acid (LCA), and then activated the vitamin-D receptor(VDR) in intestinal epithelial cells to promote
the repairment of the intestinal barrier function.
 Employed dextran sodium sulfated (DSS) induced colitis mice for behaviour tests, 16S-rDNA high-throughput
sequencing, UPLC-MS/MS and evaluation of intestinal barrier function
 Applied GSE179285 database to evaluate the expression of VDR and VDR-related pathways, and verified in
human tissues and mouse models

Clinical efficacy study of 6mm stent shunt in transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt (TIPS) in the
treatment of liver cirrhosis patients with esophagogastric variceal bleeding Sep 2019-June 2022
 Discovered that 6mm stent was equally efficient in controlling bleeding in cirrhosis patients compared with
conventional 8mm stent, and it reduced the incidence of adverse effects such as hepatic encephalopathy in a
cohort of 144 participants in a RCT-trial.

Prognostic role of NLR, PLR and MHR in patients with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis Sep 2021-June 2022
 Analyzed the association between NLR, PLR and MHR and overall survival in 278 IPF patients
 Used R to generate a smooth curve fitting for the relationship between the baseline NLR, PLR, MHR and the log
odds ratio of mortality
