Intellectual Property Code of the Philippines

I. Summary
The Intellectual Property Code of the Philippines or known as R.A. 8293 has 4 repealed laws, the
R.A. 165, R.A. 166, P.D. 49 and 285, and Articles 188 and 189 of the Revised Penal Code of the
Philippines. It has 5 parts, the Intellectual Property Office, the Laws on Patents, the Laws on
Trademark, Service Marks, and Tradenames, the Laws on Copyright, and Final Provisions.
Additionally, it composes its IRR, its application process, acquiring process, and granting
process.

II. Impact of the Topic


The whole concept of Intellectual Property Code of the Philippines provides the laws to be
considered when conducting researches, making inventions and innovations, and as well the
rights to trademarks and copyrights. These are helpful in the near future when you are
conducting studies or having your business with products and services.

For conclusion, the Intellectual Property Code of the Philippines is very important for professions

Philippine Startup Ecosystem Republic Act No. 11337

II. Summary
The Philippine Startup Ecosystem or known as Republic Act No. 11337 compromises of 4
chapters, the General Provisions, Program Benefits and Incentives, Startup Visas, and Final
Provisions. This law covers on how to they will support startup businesses, the terms and
conditions in considering startups, the visas for foreign business, and as well as the requirements
and benefits for startups. Lastly, it also includes the website for startup businesses for much
convenient and communications processes.

II. Impact of the Topic


The Philippine Startup Ecosystem (R.A. 11337) is significantly important for people or groups
who would like to start on their own business, as they can be supported and be provided with
benefits and incentives in order for them to become prosperous. It also consider the foreign
business as long you comply with the necessary requirements.

III. Conclusion
For conclusion, the Philippine Startup Ecosystem (R.A. 11337) provide assistance for startup
