Philippine Technology Transfer Act (RA 10055)

I. Summary
The Philippine Technology Transfer Act or R.A. 10055 consists of 11 articles and 30 sections. The
R.A 10055 provides an support and framework for the management, ownership, use and
commercialization of intellectual property from research and development sponsored by the
government.

II. Impact of the Topic


The R.A. 10055 can provide funds assistance for any personnel, group, department, or
organization on their developed idea, research, or product. This can contribute to the technological
advancement of society as it can generate or develop the idea or research of someone else.
However, there are some terms and conditions on the agreement between the government and
owner of research and development.

III. Conclusion
To conclude, a framework that facilitates the administration, ownership, use, and
commercialization of intellectual property resulting from government-sponsored research and
development is the Philippine Technology Transfer Act (R.A. 10055). It offers funding to people,
groups, divisions, or organizations so they can create concepts, studies, or goods that increase
society's technological capabilities. The agreement between the government and the owner of
research and development, however, must adhere to certain terms and circumstances specified
by the act. In addition, this act also provides or opens the opportunity for aspiring researchers or
inventors who are in need of funds or support on their ideas or researches.

Youth Entreprenuership Act (R.A. 10679)

II. Summary
The Youth Entrepreneurship Act or R.A. 10679 consists of 14 sections only. The R.A. 10679
provides Financial and Literacy programs for both DepED and CHED curriculum. This act also
provides assistance and support in both financial and education aspects for young entrepreneurs
within this act through, seminars, programs, scholars, and loans. In addition, this act are handled
by Entrepreneurship Education Committee from DepED, CHED, TESDA, and NYC to conduct
planning, researching, standardizing, and assistance with regards in this act

II. Impact of the Topic


This act or the R.A. 10679 can contribute to the education of students who has an interest in the
field of entrepreneurship and business. Especially us, a college student who will soon face the
world of business in the succeeding years. The programs implemented by this act from high school
to college helps me to have an concept or an idea about the world of businesses and
entrepreneurship.

III. Conclusion
For conclusion, the Youth Entrepreneurship Act or R.A. 10679 provides oppurtunity for young
aspiring entrepreneurs to understand and improve their knowledge regarding the entreprenuership.
