LESSON PLAN
GENERAL INFORMATION
Teachers’ name: Diana Garcia, Lisandy Serrano
Materials: markers, whiteboard, pencils, word cards, adhesive tape, video recording, worksheets.
SPECIFIC INFORMATION
Objective: SWABT learn the names of 5 countries and its nationalities.
Warm-up (5 minutes):
- Teacher asks what country we are live (name and cities)
- Teacher plays a video about countries and nationalities.
- Students sing along and repeat the name of different countries.
Presentation (15 minutes):
-Teacher presents some flashcards about different flags for each country.
-Teacher pronounces the name of countries.
-Students repeat the name of each country.
-Teacher explains that different cultures that each country has
-Students compare their culture with that of another country. (Food, drinks and festive days)
Practice (10 minutes)
-Teacher plays with the students “Roll the Dice countries”
-Teacher will divide the classroom into two groups
-The teacher will explain the rules of the game
A student will be selected from each side, he will roll the dice to make it roll.
It depends on the side that falls and the flag the group shows must the name of the country
Production (10 minutes)
- Teacher gives them a worksheet related to the topic they have to complete guided by the class leader
- Students have to use colors for paint the flags of different countries
-Teacher and students check the answers
Homework: cut and paste in your notebook cutouts of five flags from different countries.
Vocabulary: Zero, one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten.
Materials: markers, whiteboard, pencils, worksheets, word cards, video recording, workbook.
SPECIFIC INFORMATION
Objective: SWBAT say the number from 1-10 using a model to count at least up the seven animals.
Warm-up (5 minutes):
-Teacher introduce the topic using a song “the number son”
- Teacher teach numbers vocabulary 1-10
Presentation (15 minutes):
- Students practice numbers using objects (realia)
- Students play the game “put un the box” they have to counts certain objects the same as what is in
the box
-Students have to write in the book the numbers of each object with the respective name
Practice (10 minutes)
- Teacher play the game “visit the zoo”
-Teacher show a model with different animals
-Students have to counts how many animals have the zoo
-Students make an online excursive about numbers
Grammar: Vocabulary
Vocabulary: Happy, Sad, Angry, Scared, Hungry, Nervous, And Bored.
SPECIFIC INFORMATION
Objective: SWABT name 3 basic feelings during the week drawing a face for each feeling on their
notebooks.
Warm-up (5 minutes):
-Teacher asks how they are feeling today. (Giving reinforcement if needed)
-Teacher draws on the board a face and starts drawing eyes, nose, and eye brows.
-Students have to guess what feeling or emotion is that.
Presentation (15 minutes):
-Teacher presents images related with the vocabulary.
-Teacher goes over every feeling and emotion example.
-Teacher pronounces the vocabulary to reinforce the pronunciation.
-Students repeat after the teacher every word.
Practice (10 minutes)
-Teacher draws on the whiteboard a face, and will add some gestures.
-Students have to guess the name of the feeling or emotion represented in the draw.
-Students have to draw the face on their notebooks and write the name.
-The teacher checks the words’ spelling and gives feedback if it is needed.
Production (10 minutes)
- Teacher explains the instructions to develop the game.
- Students have to work in groups.
- Teacher gives one by one a card that contains the name of a feeling or emotion written on it. Each
member have to dramatize the feeling or emotion and the rest of the group have to guess.
- Once they guess the feeling or emotion, they have to write that word on their notebooks.
- The group with the majority of correct answers will win the game.
Homework: Students have to complete a worksheet related to the topic.

Vocabulary: Circle, triangle, square, rectangle, diamond, heart, pentagon, red, yellow, pink, blue,
orange, brown, gray, white, black, big, small, long, short.
Materials: pencils, worksheets, word cards, whiteboard, markers, objects in the classroom.
SPECIFIC INFORMATION
Objective: SWABT describe the shapes, sizes and color of at least, 5 objects in the classroom.
Warm-up (5 minutes):
- Teacher asks what days of the week they know. (Giving reinforcement if needed)
- Teacher asks what days they like the most and why.
Presentation (15 minutes):
-Teacher presents the topic using figures or drawings on the whiteboard.
-Teacher pronounces the name of every shape
-Students repeat after the teacher every shape
-Teacher explains and pronounces the sizes using images of knowing things.
-Students repeat the vocabulary and write it down in their notebooks.
Practice (10 minutes)
-Teacher explains the instructions of the game.
- Teacher shows them different figures in an image of a day at the beach.
- Students try to identify the geometric figures they find in the image.
- Students name the color of each figure, and their size.
Production (10 minutes)
- Teacher reads a short story that mentions some objects with their shapes, color and size.
- Students have to pay attention to the story.
- Students use colors to draw in their notebooks at least 4 shapes they hear in the story.
- Teacher reads the story three times.
-Teacher checks their draws.
Homework: Students have to cut geometric figures founded in newspapers, magazines or flies, past
them in their notebooks and write their color and size
