Mpale Petroleum and Logistics (Mpale) is a parent

entity with wholly owned subsidiaries focused in the
energy and petroleum sector. Mpale was
incorporated in 2007 with the sole purpose of
acquiring and operating fuel retail stations and later
diversified into the wholesale supply and distribution
of lubrication products and liquid fuel products.
Mpale, through its subsidiaries has become a reliable
marketer and supplier of quality petroleum products
from internationally recognised brands, collectively
Mpale supplies 22 million litres of petroleum products
annually.

Mpale Petroleum and Logistics is client focused

and has strong long-term relationships with
partners. We are renowned for our honesty and

Mpale Petroleum and Logistics is a contracted reseller and marketer

of Astron Energy products. This legally entails that we are partners
whom operate their own licensed wholesale distribution channels.
Astron Energy believes that by leveraging on the Marketer’s
localised and territory specific customer knowledge and
intelligence, an optimum business model is applied that supports
the marketing and distribution efforts of its product.

Astron Energy
Energy is a leading supplier of petroleum products in South Africa,
with a vast network of Caltex-branded service stations that make us
one of the country’s top two petroleum brands. Astron own and
operate the country’s third-largest crude oil refinery in Cape Town,
which has a capacity of 100,000 barrels a day, and a lubricants
manufacturing plant in Durban.
DISTRIBUTION NETWORK AND SECURITY OF SUPPLY

Our commercial clients rely on us for security supply. Mpale
Petroleum and Logistics through its Astron partnership has access
to petroleum products from the following terminals:
