V. CONCLUSION
The system is most economical. This system
receives the subsidy from government and also the returns
of carbon credit. So, the payback period of this system is
only of two years.
However, the use of solar energy has certain
benefits due to which it is necessary to use the solar
energy for cooking purposes.
i) Greatly reduced pollution
In usual practice, a lot of pollution takes place
whenever fossil fuel or conventional sources of energy are
used. But, the use of solar energy for any purpose is free
from the pollution.
ii) Greatly reduced contribution to global
warming
One of the greatest advantages of solar energy of
course is that there is no carbon dioxide, methane or other
emissions that warm the atmosphere. Again,
manufacturing and installation of solar appliances are
necessarily accompanied by some of those emissions.
iii) Infinite energy resource
Solar energy is not a finite resource as fossil fuels
are. While the sun is up there it constantly produces all the
energy we can use.
iv) Reduced maintenance costs
While not maintenance-free what technology
really is? Once solar panels, wind- or water power
facilities are in place, no fuel or lubricants need to be
supplied.
