Thealaca School Gardening Club 2023

We hope this letter finds you well. We are excited to inform you that Thealaca - Our Community Garden Club will be hosting
weekly after-school sessions for the maintenance of the garden. These collaborative team sessions will focus on various
aspects of gardening, environmental management, and team-building. We would like your child,
_____________________________, to participate in these activities as a member of the club.

Details:
The sessions aim to provide an enriched learning experience for your child in the realm of gardening and environmental
awareness.
The sessions will take place from 2:00 - 3:15 p.m every Tuesday.

Starting Date: Pick-Up Location:

Sessions will commence on Tuesday, 23rd Parents will be picking up the students from
January, 2024 Gate 2 at 3:15 pm.

Additional Information:
Members are requested to bring extra lunch and water bottles for this activity and should bring spare
clothes suitable for gardening as well as face masks. All members will be provided with all the necessary
tools and equipment. The sessions will be supervised by Miss Gulnaz Alfred, all the club heads and
school staff. Safety guidelines will be strictly followed, and due to weather conditions, all students are
required to bring coats, gloves and caps to keep warm.

Garden Club every Tuesday from 2:00 PM to 3:15 PM.

NOTE: Please note any members missing 3 consecutive meetings may be removed from club asper club
rules and regulations.
Please return this permission slip by Friday, January 19th, 2024. Any students who fail to return this slip
by the given date will not be allowed to participate in any of the activities.
