Whilst a section of the society discerns that experiments on living creatures ought to be

banned, others and I are staunch believers that significant scientific developments require
animals’ sacrifices. I opine that governments should issue laws that protect animals’ rights, and
scientists could utilize other methods in drugs manufacturing. The reasons for my contention
will be further explained below along with lucid examples.

In the beginning, some activists claim that animals have been afflicted with scientific
experiments; however, others believe that rats and rabbits play an indispensable role in
launching new drugs. When some pharmaceutical companies intend to produce medications,
they will do research on the effectiveness and side effects of these drugs by using lab animals.
During the COVID-19 period, for instance, many international scientists tried their vaccines on
rats and monkeys before patients. Therefore, decision-makers ought to enact regulations that
protects animals’ lives and humans since it is paramount for nations to enhance individuals’
well-being, especially during pandemics. In addition, some governments have impeded
cosmetics institutions from utilizing animals in their work, such as Brazil. What can assumed is
that if a plethora of countries prevent the usage of living creatures in beauty products
experiments, their lives will be saved.

Moreover, it has been believed that technology could replace animals in lab experiments. To
illustrate, if pharmacists use technological approaches and computer simulations to examine
new drugs, they will protect lab animals. This is exemplified by overseas companies which do
their drug examination via robots instead of rats in the manufacturing phase. Another notion is
that some pharmaceutical faculties show digital demonstrations of animals’ anatomy and the
effect of some drugs on them without killing these creatures. Hence, not only could scientists
integrate digitalized methods into their tests, but also they could conserve living things’ lives.

In conclusion, after this essay has manifested the above-mentioned points, it can be reiterated
that while some people assume that using animals in scientific tests should be forbidden due to
their detrimental impacts on animals, others think that these creatures are pivotal in the global
drug production. I am convinced that it is a collective work that requires both authorities’ and
scientists’ actions to prevent the misuse of animals.367
 The conclusion rephrases the introduction and restates the opinion.
