Opening soon! The New
SRH Campus Berlin

Your New
Campus 2024!
Built from the ground up, our new campus in
Berlin was designed with one mission in mind:
Create a modern, contemporary hub where students are inspired
to learn, connect, and turn dreams into a future.

Construction began on August 17, 2021 on the scenic riverside site next to the Ringbahn station
Sonnenallee. Completion is planned for 2024. The complex will then cover an area of around 12,000
square meters and be accessible by all means of transportation.
Our brand-new campus combines contemporary architecture with state-of-the-art facilities for
students. Not only is the location perfectly situated in one of Berlin's up-and-coming districts, but it
also offers the best possible environment for education and development. Modern equipment and
functional rooms ensure CORE-aligned learning amidst an inspiring atmosphere – from photo, film,
and music studios to the library and cafeteria, and on to the IT and technical labs.
Such a stylish environment requires a sustainable power supply. With sustainability as one of our
guiding principles at SRH, we planned and built our new grounds with forward-looking energy effi-
ciency: from natural air conditioning and cutting-edge heat distribution to an integrated solar roof.
And, of course, for all urban cyclists out there, there will be plenty of bicycle racks!

Why did you choose to study at SRH Berlin?
"I decided to study International Management after I have already walked on a very varied life path. As a musi-
cian, yoga teacher and initiator with a huge hunger for academic challenges, I wanted to commit to a programme
which could help me to develop the skills to take a more responsible role in the cultural field."

What did you like about your studies?

"The International Management programme gave me the basics to hold onto when organising performing arts
projects. At first, I didn’t know where to start, and my studies helped me not to see too many obstructions but
to just go for it, step by step."

Unlock Work Opportunities
Part-time Jobs for Students

A student job offers a dual benefit: it can bolster

your finances during your studies and provide inval-
uable work experience.
For non-EU/EEA students, the German Residence Act
permits 120 full days or 240 half-days of work annu-
ally, with freelancing off the table. Meanwhile, EU/EEA
students enjoy unrestricted access to the German la-
bour market.
During term time, you can take on roles for up to 20
hours a week, which can be extended to 40 hours dur-
ing semester breaks. Proficiency in German signifi-
cantly eases the job hunt, which is why at SRH we offer
free German courses for all international students.
While student part-time positions often align with the
German minimum wage, set at €12 per hour since 1st
October 2022, your potential earnings can vary based
on your expertise, the sector you're employed in, and
regional market conditions.

Taxes Explained
Holding a part-time allows students to earn up to
€520 monthly without incurring tax. If your regular in-
come surpasses this limit, you'll require a tax number
and a portion of your salary will be deducted each
month. However, by filing a tax return at the year's end,
students can get this money back.
