• Blood constantly passes through our kidneys.
• The functional unit of Kidney is a Nephron.
• The renal artery brings in the dirty blood
containing waste substances in to the kidneys.
• The function of kidney is to remove the
poisonous substance urea, other waste salts and
excess water from the blood and excrete them
in the form of yellowish liquid called urine.
• The cleaned blood is carried away from the
kidneys by the renal vein or kidney vein.
Nephrone / व्रक्काणु िरं चना
 Each Kidney has around 1 million
Nephrons
 These are the thread like structure in
the kidney.
 Main function of the nephrone is to
help in filtering liquid substance in
the kidney.
Parts of nephrone :
 Bowman’s capsule - The nephron
has a cup shaped bag at its upper
end which is called Bowman’s
capsule. The lower end of
Bowman’s capsule tube shaped
called tubule. And these together
form nephron. One end of a tube is
connected to the Bowman’s capsule
and other is connected to a urine-
collecting duct of the kidney.

• रक्त िगातार वृक्क िे गुजरता है।
• वृक्क की कायाफत्मक इकाई “नेफ्रॉन” है।
• वृक्क की धमनी गंदे रक्त में अपसिष्ट पदािों को वृक्क
में िाती है।
• वृक्क का कायफ रक्त िे जहरीिे पदािफ यूररया, अन्य
अपसिष्ट िवणों और असतररक्त पानी को सनकािना
और मूत्र नामक पीिे तरि के रूप में बाहर
सनकािना है।
• िार् रक्त गुदे की नि या गुदे की नि िे दूर िे जाया
जाता है।
 प्रत्येक ककडनी में िगभग 1 समसियन नेफ्रॉन
होते हैं
 ये गुदे में धागे की तरह िंरचना हैं।
 नेफ्रोन का मुख्य कायफ गुदे में तरि पदािफ को
छानने में मदद करना है।
नेफ्रोन के भाग:
 बोमन कै प्िूि - नेफ्रॉन के ऊपरी सिरे पर एक
कप के आकार का बैग होता है सजिे बोमन
कै प्िूि कहा जाता है। बोमन कै प्िूि ट्यूब के
सनचिे सिरे को ट्यूब्यूि कहा जाता है। और ये
एक िाि नेफ्रोन का सनमाफण करते हैं। एक
ट्यूब का एक छोर बोमन कै प्िूि िे जुडा होता
है और दूिरा ककडनी के मूत्र-िंग्रह िे जुडा
होता है।
