SDC OUTAGE UPDATE: LENASIA

City Power Lenasia Service Delivery Centre (SDC) has a total of 123 open calls, 65 have been
logged in the last 24 hours. We have 48 plants that are out of service.

Lenasia A

Lenasia A has 114 open calls, 62 are over 24 hours and 14 plants are out of service.

Current outages:

We are aware of a outage in Lenasia South ext, 4. Operators have been notified.

Ennerdale Extension 6 Switching Station: The team is sourcing materials for repairs. The cause of
the outage in Ennerdale ext. 6 Industrial is vandalism. Two load centers will remain off until repairs
are done.

Nirvana Substation: We have restored 99% of power in Lenasia, Lenasia South and Mountain
View. The team is sourcing materials for repairs. The cause of the outage is vandalism.

Lenasia B

Lenasia B has nine open calls, three are over 24 hours and 34 plants are out of service.
Current outage:
Goldev Switching Station: Affecting Freedom Park East. The cause of the outage is a faulty Pole
Mounted Transformer (PMT) which will be replaced. The restoration process will take place once
repairs have been completed. We apologise for the prolonged outage.
