)
o WHO: đại từ chỉ người, làm S / O
Ex: I told you the woman who lives next door.
o WHOM: đại từ chỉ người, làm O
Ex: We like the man whom you talked to yesterday
o WHOSE: chỉ sở hữu cho người và vật
Ex: That is the girl whose hat I took by mistake yesterday.
o WHICH: đại từ chỉ đồ vật, động vật, sự việc, làm S / O
Ex: He couldn’t read which surprised me.
o THAT: đại từ chỉ người/ vật hoặc người + vật, làm S / O
Ex: I like the songs that were sung by Taylor Swift
o WHERE ( = in/at/on which): trạng từ chỉ nơi chốn
Ex: The hotel where we stayed wasn’t very clean.
o WHEN ( = in/at/on which): trạng từ chỉ thời gian
Ex: I remember the day when I met you.
o WHY (= for which): trạng từ chỉ lý do
Ex: I don’t know the reason why you didn’t go to school.

 Phải dùng dấu phẩy sau: tên riêng, Adj sở hữu + N, đại từ chỉ định(this;that;these;those) + N
 Các trường hợp buộc phải dùng “THAT”: N hỗn hợp, người + vật, so sánh nhất, anyone..…
 Mệnh đề có dấu phẩy → Không dùng “that”.
