System Setup Guide

1. Introduction
Before starting the exercise work in your SAP Live Access training environment, you will need
to prepare yourself based on the SAP Live Access General User Guide and this course
relevant Setup Guide. This document provides all additional training system setup
information that you need to know in order to successfully use your SAP Live Access training
environment for the booked course.

5. Logon Information to Access SAP Training Systems


Choose the desired course in the SAP Live Access portal and request the deployment of the
corresponding training system. Access to the training system is possible via the SAP Live
Access portal after the deployment is finished.

Your designated Group Number is being displayed in the top area of your SAP Live Access
system window. Every time you are asked to make an input containing the ## or XX symbols,
you need to replace them with the Group Number consistently throughout the course
exercises.

6. Additional System Setup Tasks


The steps mentioned below are needed to create a specific set of master data and transaction
data in order to perform the demonstrations mentioned in the handbook.
You must complete these steps to ensure that the demonstrations of the handbook work.

1. Review the master data information.


This course uses a dedicated master data set with the range CF## for all exercises. Use
only this master data.
Only use the G/L accounts, internal order type, and controlling area that are mentioned in
the course material.
The CF00 company code is used for Central Payments.

2. Activate the Business Function.


Validate that the CFIN Business Function is activated in the target system. It must be
activate before you start the course.
If the FINS_CFIN Business Function is not active, complete the following steps to activate
it:

a. In the target system, enter transaction SPRO and go to IMG → Activate Business
Functions. Alternatively, enter SFW5.

b. Accept the warning message and click Continue.

c. Under Enterprise Business Functions, select the FINS_CFIN business function and
select the Planned Status check box.

d. Click Activate Changes (on top of the page). To confirm again, Activate Changes.

e. Go back to the Enterprise Business Functions folder and validate that the business
function has been activated. The status shows that the business function is activated
and the line for the active business function is highlighted in yellow

3. Review and create transactional data.

For this course the transactional data is already created in the system. You may need to
create more for specific exercises. In this case, the exercise explains how to do this.

Note:
Do not change any data in the system.

4. Tax procedure mapping.

a. In the Target system map the tax procedures from 0TXD in source to TAXD in target
In T41 System, open Transaction FINS_CFIN_MAP_MANAGE and select the following:

● Mapping Entity → FINS_CFIN_TAX_KALSM CFIN: Tax procedure

● Source system → ZMECLNT800

Please select “generate template” and save the template in the desktop.
Open the template file and complete with the following:

Save the file. Then please upload the mapping


In T41 System, open Transaction FINS_CFIN_MAP_MANAGE and select the following:

● Mapping Entity → FINS_CFIN_TAX_KALSM CFIN: Tax procedure

● Source system → ZMECLNT800

Please select “upload mappings” execute with the “test run” selected if is OK please
execute again without the “test run”.

b. In the target system create the following mapping list


In the T41 System open the transactionSPRO → SAP Reference IMG → Financial
Accounting → Central Finance → Central Finance: Target System Settings →
Mapping → Define Value Mapping → Assign Code Lists to Elements and Systems

c. Create the tax codes necessary for the exercises using the transaction FTXP
In T41 System, go to Transaction FTXP. The system will prompt you to complete with a
country, please use “DE”. Create the following tax codes: 1O and 1I.

● Complete the tax code field with the tax code you need to create (1I in this case),
press enter this will prompt a new screen when you need to complete the following:

Press Enter and then Save.

● Complete the tax code field with the tax code you need to create (1O in this case),
press enter this will prompt a new screen when you need to complete the following:

d. Create the mapping for the new tax codes 1O and 1I.
In the T41 System open the transactionSPRO → SAP Reference IMG → Financial
Accounting → Central Finance → Central Finance: Target System Settings →
Mapping → Maintain Value Mapping

Then click on the Display Mapping Relationships button.


Click on the Mapping ID “02” and then click on the “Define value mapping” folder,
there map the 1O source tax code to the 1O target code and 1I source code to the 1I
target code.

5. Create the House Bank for Central Payment's company code.


Create the House Bank for company code CF00.

This configuration is not transportable so needs to be done before starting with payments
in target system.

a. In the target system, enter transaction code FBZP and select House banks.

b. Select the company code CF00. On the dialog structure on the left side of the screen,
double-click House Banks.

c. Click New Entry and create House Bank 1 with following data:

d. Click the Create icon. Enter Bank1 in the Bank Name field and save.

e. The system prompts you to create a transport request. Create request named S4F61
House Bank-do not transport and save. Go back.

f. After the House Bank is created, select Bank Accounts on the dialog structure on the
left side of the screen, skip the read only message and then click on the Create Bank
Account button. This opens a browser to create the Bank ID.

g. Enter the following data for the entry that you just created:

h. Click Save to create the ID. Before continuing please close the warning message:

i. Once the data is saved, click the Edit button and go to the House Bank Account
Connectivity tab and create the link between the Bank ID and the GL account to be
used.

j. Click Add button. Enter the following:

k. Click Save and close the page.

l. Click Save and check if the house bank is created.

m. Enter transaction code FBZP, click the House Bank button.

n. Select the CF00 company code, double click House Banks and double click Bank
Accounts (If a read-only pop-up appears click Ok) and see if the bank account is
created.

6. Complete prerequisites for Initial load.


Before starting the exercises and demos related to initial load, ensure that the
VCFIN_SOURCE _SET table is maintained. This is a a prerequisite.

a. In the source system, enter transaction SM30 and open the VCFIN_SOURCE_SET table,
click Edit and populate the table with following data:

b. Save your changes.

c. If you receive a transport message request from the system, create request
CFIN_S4F61-## VCFIN_SOURCE_SET, save and execute.

Note:
Before you start the real-time replication, click the Initial Load Completed field
and save.

7. Validate that the SLO in the SLT system is unlocked.

a. In the target system, enter transaction SE38 and open the


DMC_ANWDG_MWB_ACCESS report.

b. On the Control Access for Applications screen, validate that the SLO is unlocked and
the table is the same as the following table:

8. Enable the initial load.

Note:
The SLT is on the target system.

This course uses the ID 009/CFIN SLT Mass Transfer and is delivered in activated status.
Additionally, following tables are already populated and set to replication:

● T001

● T001RWT

● T001WT

● T005

● T007A

● T007B

● TTXD

● T030

● T059MINMAX

● T059P

● T059Z

● T000F

Note:
Do not change anything on the delivered items.

To enable initial load, the AUFK, CFIN_ACCHD and COBK tables must be added to the
CFIN configuration with the 009 Mass ID and set to Load.
For more information, see transaction LTRC.
Each table must be inserted and activated before starting the related exercises for the
initial load. Please follow accurately the steps in the exercises.

9. Prepare data for the Prepare for Initial Load of CO Postings exercise.
A preparation step is required before the initial load of management accounting (CO)
postings takes place.
Complete the following tasks before you start this exercise:

a. Enter transaction SPRO and go to Financial Accounting → Central Finance → Central


Finance: Target System Settings → Initial Load → Initial Load Preparation for
Management Accounting → Prepare for and Monitor the Initial Load of CO Posting.

b. Choose the T90CLNT090 logical system.

c. On the Preparation of initial load of CO secondary postings: Summary screen, in the left
top corner, choose Execute Run.

d. After executing the run, choose Refresh to update the result in the progress and status
column.

e. Once the status is F (Finished and Delta Run Required), you can start the initial load.

10. Central Payments


The Exercises and Demo for Central Payments are executed only in company code CF00.
Please use below instructions to set up the Tax consistency check and Central Payments
before executing them.

a. Tax consistency check activation.

i. In the Target system proceed with the tax code activation for the company CF00
(change with company needed).

ii. In T41 System, open transaction SPRO and go to IMG: Financial


Accounting → Financial Accounting → Central Finance → Central Finance: Target
System Settings → Set Up Systems → Activate Tax Consistency Check for
Company Codes.

iii. Click New Entries and enter the following information:

iv. Click Save and exit.

b. Activate Clearing Transfer for Source Systems


In the target system execute the Activate Clearing Transfer for Source Systems:

i. In the T41 System, enter transaction SPRO and go to SAP Easy Access → Financial
Accounting → Central Finance → Central Finance: Target System
Settings → Clearing Transfers → Activate Clearing Transfer for Source Systems.

ii. Enter T90CLNT090 for the logical system, remove the Test mode check and
execute.

iii. The system should display the message Clearing transfer activated.

c. Central Payment Activation.


In the Target system proceed with the Central Payment activation for the company
CF00 (change with company needed):

i. In T41 System, enter transaction SPRO and go to IMG: Financial


Accounting → Financial Accounting → Central Finance → Central Finance: Target
System Settings → Central Payment → Activate Central Payment for Company
Codes.

ii. Click Modify button and change the field scope with the following:

iii. Click Save and exit.

d. Run the FINS_MIG_CJ3 program

i. In the Target system, run the FINS_MIG_CJ3 program. In T41 System, open
transaction SPRO and go to SAP Easy Access → Financial Accounting → Central
Finance → Central Finance: Target System Settings → Clearing
Transfers → Reopen Technically Cleared Items. Click Execute.

ii. In the Target system monitor the FINS_MIG_CJ3 program. In T41 System, open
transaction SPRO and go to SAP Easy Access → Financial Accounting → Central
Finance → Central Finance: Target System Settings → Clearing
Transfers → Monitor Reopening of Technically Cleared Items. Check the messages.

11. Run the SAP Fiori apps.


Run the SAP Fiori apps demonstrations as outlined in the course material.
You may receive a second sign on request from the system when opening the first tile. In
this case, log on with the same details.

7. Known System Issues


You might encounter a message that states: Business System ZMECLNT800 does not
exist in System Landscape Directory (SLD).
Key mapping will work despite this error message.
Exercise 32 - Check Transactional Fiori Apps
The Exercise is currently not working. The Fiori Apps for Message Monitoring are not loading
any data in the SAP S/4HANA 2020 landscape.
Demonstration - How to Use SAP Fiori Apps
The Demonstration is currently not working. The Fiori Apps for Message Monitoring are not
loading any data in the SAP S/4HANA 2020 landscape.

8. Additional Hints And Tips For Exercises of This Course


IMPORTANT: Please always complete the exercise you are working on before you suspend
the system as to not cause potential system inconsistencies and failure.
We recommend that you set the source and target system to different colors to help ease
identification.
When you first log on, change the system colors as follows:

● Source system: green
● Target System: red

How to run the course


Read the SSG and the instructions carefully. Some exercises have specific prerequisites. If
the prerequisite step is not done, the exercise will not work. Complete the set up in the
following order:

1. CFIN Setup, Mapping : Execute Demos, Exercise 1 to Exercise 8. Stop and do not move to
the next session unless everything works as described in the documentation

2. CFIN Initial Load Execution : Execute Demos, Exercise 9 to 19. Stop and do not move to
the next session unless everything works as described in the documentation.

3. CFIN Real-Time Replication : Execute Demos, Exercises from 20 to 32.

3rd-Part SLT Load/Replication Procedure


Before participants begin the 3rd-Party Interface exercise, perform the following steps in T41
to load sample data into AIF.

1. Load 3rd-Party Documents and enable Replication

In T41 System, open Transaction LTRC and click Mass Transfer 00G – CFIN_3P (Central
Finance 3rd-Party Interface). Default Tab = Participating Objects.
Click Data Provisioning Button and enter table name /1LT/CF_E_HEADER. Select Radio
button Start Replication and Click Continue

2. Monitor Table Load until complete

Remain in Participating Objects tab & Click Refresh Entries (F8) button periodically until
Current Phase = Replication & Details = Waiting for Changes.

3. Confirm 3rd-Party Documents transfer to AIF

In T41 System, open Transaction /n/AIF/IFMON, expand node Central Finance - /FINCF
and confirm 13 entries exist for Interface Accounting Document - External Interface -
AC_DOC_EX/2
