Before you get started building your user flow, take a look at a couple of
examples from Tinder and Catalist:

1
Tinder Example
Description:
In this example for the dating app Tinder, after we’ve determined our entry point as
‘login’, we’ve explored two possible user actions: to swipe or to view matches. Under
‘Swipe’, we can see the User’s Profile, and from ‘View Matches’, you can see:

● your match list

● your message inbox
● And then, your conversations

From there, we want to feed ‘User Profile’ and ‘Conversation’ as the data that goes into

the generated output (i.e. AI Conversation Starter). From there the next steps for our

conversation starter are successfully sending it to the chat, failing gracefully by

trying again, or trust and verify by viewing the source profile to double-check the

content.

Catalist Example
Description:

Catalist features a meeting note-taking bot, accessible either through direct invitation to
calendar events or via the Catalist app. Once engaged, the bot transcribes the meeting,
incorporating data inputs such as team member names and genders (to mitigate bias) to
generate comprehensive meeting notes. Users have the option to share the notes, edit
them effortlessly as a demonstration of graceful failure, or validate their accuracy by
reviewing the meeting transcript.

To create your own user flow, we’ve created several pieces you’ll need to build, including
arrows that can be manipulated into any direction you choose.

Simply click on the section below, select ‘edit’, and start to copy-paste the pieces you need
over to the right-hand side of the Drawing space. If you need additional room for your
user flow to grow (or perhaps you’d like to create more than one), you can create a new
Drawing space by going to “Insert > Drawing > New.”
