Brief:

This assignment is designed to encourage critical thinking, research, and practical application of
housing master planning principles. Students are expected to apply their knowledge from previous
case studies and lectures to develop a well-considered proposal for the given site. Please refer to the
site options at end of the assignment.

6. Proposal Give two proposals for improving the housing planning at the site. 20%

7. Test-Fit & AI Test and improve your proposal with Test-Fit and comment on AI 10%
Integration assistance.

8. Scaled Model Prepare a scaled model of your final proposal at 1:500 scale. 15%
Creation

Submission Requirements:

• A comprehensive report including all tasks.

• Photographic evidence of the site visit.
• Scale drawings and proposals in digital format (PDF).
• A narrative on how AI and Test-Fit tools have influenced the design.
• A physical model to be presented in class on the day of submission.
Assessment Criteria:

• Depth of analysis in the site study and essentials analysis.

• Creativity and feasibility in the proposals.
• Quality and accuracy of scale drawings and models.
• Critical thinking in the application of AI tools and Test-Fit analysis.
• Overall coherence and presentation of the final submission.
