To Whom It May Concern: October 17th, 2023

My name is Lorna Bianco and I am a Clinical Instructor/Lecturer in the College of Nursing at the
University of Arizona. I teach the Acute and Chronic Illness Management II course in the BSN program.
I am writing regarding Jorge Gonzalez. Jorge is a student nurse in our Critical Care rotation currently in
the Fall 2023 semester. Jorge demonstrates resilience that I believe will serve him well in the role of a
new nurse. He takes feedback well, is self-motivated and attempts to implement the feedback given to
him to improve his understanding as well as improve his critical thinking skills. He has integrity and has
good work ethic. He will be a reliable employee to any facility and would be a solid candidate for the
Banner preceptorship.

It is my goal as a clinical instructor to help shape and mold new nurses that everyone would like to
work alongside. Jorge has demonstrated thus far in the semester that he is one such individual. I am
proud of who I am sure he will be as a new nurse: accountable, trustworthy, motivated and self-
propelling. It is with complete confidence that I recommend Jorge Gonzalez for the preceptorship
position.

Sincerely,

Lorna Bianco MSN, RN
