ADDENDUM
Addendum to the Notification No.02 /2024 - Recruitment to the
post of Assistant Professor in Tamil Nadu Collegiate
Educational Service for Government Arts and Science Colleges
and Government Colleges of Education to be filled up by Direct
Recruitment

The candidates who are appearing for the TNSET (2024) examination
conducted by the Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli may also apply for
recruitment to the post of Assistant Professor in Govt. Arts and Science Colleges and
Govt. Colleges of Education in the Tamil Nadu Collegiate Educational Service to be
filled up by Direct Recruitment based on the Notification No: 02/2024 uploaded in the
website on 14.03.2024.
The last date for submission of filled-in application forms through Online
mode only has been extended from 29.04.2024 to 15.05.2024, 5.00 p. m.
Such candidates will be allowed to appear for the Written Examination for the
post of Assistant Professor only if they pass the TNSET 2024 examination on or
before 04.08.2024, ie:-the date of examination and possesses the other educational
qualifications as prescribed in the Notification on or before 15.05.2024. Such
candidates will be considered for interview / selection, only if they pass the TNSET
2024 examination, apart from the Written Competitive Examination to be conducted
by the Teachers Recruitment Board, failing which they shall be treated as ineligible
and their applications will be summarily rejected.
Provisions will be made in the registration portal for candidates to upload their
TNSET 2024 certificate in the online registration portal (www.trb.tn.gov.in) after the
declaration of the results by the Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, based on
which the hall tickets will be issued for the written examination.
The fee paid by them shall not be refunded or adjusted later”
All the other details and conditions mentioned in the Notification No. 02 / 2024,
dated 14.03.2024 remains unchanged.
