Adding Chords to Mouse in the House

I For students ages 6 or younger, it may


be preferred to omit ‘DO’ from the
chord and just play ‘MI’ and ‘SO.’
ONE CHORD
I Chord
“I” is the Roman numeral for the
number “one.” The I chord is played
using the notes:

DO MI SO
DO MI SO

Write the letter name of each note on the lines below.


1 Play a I chord (DO - MI - SO) with your LH while you sing “Mouse in the House.”
2 Play the melody with your RH while you play chords with your LH. Play a chord whenever
you see a “I.”
