THE 5TH DAY OF MAY 2021 AT THE BARANGAY SESSION HALL.

BARANGAY RESOLUTION NO .04-2021

A RESOLUTION EARNESTLY REQUESTING HON. WENDELL E. AVISADO,

SECRETARY, DEPARTMENT OF BUDGET AND MANAGEMENT THRU
HON CRESCENTE N. GARCIA TO ALLOCATE FUNDS IN THE AMOUNT
OF TE N MILLION PESOS (PHP 10,000,000.00) FOR THE CONSTRUCTION
OF POBLACION MULTI-PURPOSE HALL & COMMUNITY CENTER THAT
WILL HOUSE THE BARANGAY CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER,
BARANGAY HEALTH CENTER, RECREATION CENTER FOR SENIOR
CITIZENS & LIVELIHOOD TRAINING CENTER OF BARANGAY
POBLACION, BURGOS, ILOCOS NORTE.

WHEREAS, the Barangay Council of Poblacion frequently conducts activities that

supports the well being of the community, promotion of the Ilocano Culture and
intensify the tourism industry of the barangay and the whole municipality;

WHEREAS, with the increasing number of inhabitants, there is a need to provide a

community center spacious enough to conduct assemblies, meetings and other
recreational activities and livelihood training that promotes the well being of the
community;

WHEREAS, some other purpose of the community center is to cater the increasing
number of tourist, local and foreign and guest from other barangays, towns and
dignitaries who frequently conducts visits on the Best Practices on Waste
Management & Diversion, the Gulayan sa Barangay Makakalikasang Aksyon
Tuong sa Taong Bayan (GUBMATT) and the Basura Exchange School Tiangge
(BEST) of Barangay Poblacion ;

WHEREAS, the barangay had purchased a 5,430 square meter lot to be the seat of
the Barangay Government’s multi purpose community center building that will
house the Child Development Center and recreation center for the elderly,
livelihood center and Barangay Health Center;
WHEREAS, due to scarcity of funds, the Barangay has no way to cause for the
construction of Barangay Multi-purpose Hall and community center, but to seek
funding assistance to cause oriented organizations, institutions and National
agencies like the Department of Budget and Management headed by Hon. Wendell
E. Avisado, DBM Secretary, thru Hon. Crescente N. Garcia, Municipal Mayor,
Burgos, Ilocos Norte..

NOW THEREFORE, upon careful study and thorough deliberation on the matter
and upon motion of Kag. Frederick B. Baniaga, Jr., duly seconded unanimously,
be it;

REOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED to Hon. Wendell E. Avisado,

Secretary, Department Of Budget And Management Thru Hon Crescente N.
Garcia To Allocate Funds In The Amount Of Te N Million Pesos (Php
10,000,000.00) For The Construction Of Poblacion Multi-Purpose Hall &
Community Center That Will House The Barangay Child Development Center,
Barangay Health Center, Recreation Center For Senior Citizens & Livelihood
Training Center Of Barangay Poblacion, Burgos, Ilocos Norte.

RESOLVED FURTHER to transcribe copies of this resolution to authorities

concerned for their information and reference hereto.

This Barangay Resolution no. 4-2021 was approved on its 1st and final reading
with the following voting profile:
