BARANGAY RESOLUTION NO. 015-2023

A RESOLUTION EARNESTLY REQUESTING SENATOR CHRISTOPHER
LAWRENCE “BONG” GO, OF THE PHILIPPINES SENATE TO ALLOCATE
FUNDS IN THE AMOUNT OF TWO MILLION PESOS (P2,000,000.00) FOR THE
PROVISION OF RESCUE VEHICLE FOR DISATER RISK REDUCTION
MANAGEMENT PROGRAM OF BARANGAY POBLACION IN ITS BURGOS,
ILOCOS NORTE.

WHEREAS, Barangay Poblacion is the seat of governance in the municipality as well as

the center of commerce and industry, venue for religious activities of the different church
denominations and the location of Elementary and lone Secondary school in the locality;
WHEREAS, Barangay Poblacion is also a busy barangay because of its booming tourism
industry, being the site of the famous Kapurpurawan White Rock Formation and the Burgos
Wind Farm;
WHEREAS, Barangay Poblacion in its geographic location, has sitios within the outskirts
of the barangay that is prone to flooding, and residents are subject for evacuation;
WHEREAS, the presence of a rescue vehicle will definitely contribute to the safety and
improvement of the total well-being of the constituents of the barangay especially those in
far flung areas;
WHEREAS, the barangay has a very limited fund and has no way to cause for the
purchase of rescue vehicle other than to request for funding assistance from cause-oriented
leaders like Senator Christopher Lawrence T. “Bong” Go.
NOW THEREFORE, on motion of Kagawad Cresel Zacarias M. Calapini, duly seconded
by all the members present;
RESOLVED , as it is HEREBY RESOLVED, to Earnestly Requesting Hon Christopher
Lawrence T. “Bong” Go, Senator Of The Philippines To Allocate Funds In The Amount Of
Two Million Pesos (P2,000,000.00) For The Provision Of Rescue Vehicle for Disaster Risk
Reduction Management Program Of Barangay Poblacion, Burgos, Ilocos Norte.

RESOLVED FINALLY that copy of this resolution be furnished to the Office Senator
Christopher Lawrence T. “Bong” Go and to all concerned agencies for their information
and favorable consideration hereto.
UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED.
