 My Course is Preparatory Course leading to bachelors study programmed
named, MSC in Business Administration/MSC in Economics

15. Why do you want this course?


 I have completed my Bachelor’s in India and I want to update my skills for
which I need an International Masters Degree which will help me to earn
around 60000-70000 of salary when I come back in India.

16. What is the admission procedure?


 I was searching for International education on internet and I came across a
website called studyin.cz. After going through the website I decided to apply
for CULS. After uploading all the documents, I came in contact with a student
coordinator (Mr. Ievgen Tomashevskyi) who took my Skype Interview. I was
asked many questions related to my stream. Later,I paid 500 Czech Corona as
my admission fees.

18. Why are you not doing this specialization in India?
 I can do the same course in India, but if I study this course in Czech Republic
than I will learn more practical base education, which is the current
requirement of corporate world

 Apart from this, the education system of Czech Republic is quite advanced,
which helps me to get decent education
 And, international degree holds great importance in the world
 If I talk about the faculties, faculties in Czech Republic are very much well
experienced and highly qualified from all over the world
 I will be able to achieve academic diversity along with cultural richness as
there will be number of students from all over the world
 Moreover, India is a developing nation and Czech republic is well developed
nation, so, it is ahead from India in every sector
 I will be able to explore things at very early stage
 So, I am very much satisfied with my decision to study in CZ

 Although the same course is available in my country but not selecting India
for higher education has several reasons.
 Firstly, education in Czech Republic gives me an opportunity to achieve the
reputed degree.
 Secondly, a well ranked university of Czech Republic gives me the platform
through which I can have practical as well as quality education.
 I have got to know that Czech universities arrange factory visits in order to
make students understand the subjects through this practical approach.
 Studying in foreign university will let me know how many different ways of
teaching and researching can exist in our world.
 Thus, I am completely satisfied for choosing Czech Republic over India for
my tertiary education.
19. Why do you want to do this course?
 Doing BBA/MBA will not only help me to acquire new skills and new
perspectives but will also increase my earning potential.
 The MBA is a globally-recognized qualification so you’ll open up greater
opportunities to work in a country or geographical region of your choice.
 In today’s job market, it’s getting harder and harder to move up without a
higher-level qualification.
 Completing an MBA will make sure that you have the credentials required to
compete.

setup your own business; this can include learning to write a business plan,
plan a marketing campaign forecast accounts and schedule production.

 Getting a high MBA salary after graduation, landing a management position,

with a regular Masters.

 I have got the confirmation of accommodation from my university.
They have arranged my accommodation in University Halls of
Residence.
 They have several blocks in campus like A, BCD, EFG, JIH.
 They are capable to provide accommodation for about 6000 students on
campus.

24. Do you have accommodation? Who provides?

 Yes, my university has already arranged my accommodation and they
have provided the Accommodation Confirmation for visa application

25. Have you paid your accommodation fees?


 No, I have not paid the accommodation fees.
 But, I will be pay it once I get Visa Confirmation

26. What will be your expense during your stay in Czech Republic?

 I want to do specialization in Accounting

 I have been in contact with the international student coordinator

interview and found me eligible and I got admission.

 I find it online over the internet

 University has courier to me through DHL.

 Yes, I have paid 500 CZK after online registration through university
website

 No, I don’t have to pay any visa fees as my university is public university

44. What is preparatory?


 In preparatory course, students have to study first semester has 228
teaching hours including 12 hours for exams and tests FOR FEB INTAKE
and
 first year has 456 teaching hours including 24 hours for exams and test
(FOR SEP INTAKE)
 After this and successful completion of Nostrification process student may
be recognized as regular student for the second semester.

45. What is Nostrification?


 Process of recognition of your previous qualification(It takes 4-6 months
and can be done only in Czech Republic)

46. Why aren't you doing Nostrification in your own country?

 Nostrification can be done from my own country but it is a lengthy process


and if I do this in Czech Republic I will get assistance from my university
for the recognition of documents.

 Nostrification can be done from home country as well as after going to
Czech Republic but my student coordinator had advised me to do
Nostrification in Czech republic as it will take 1-2 months only.

 Authentication of the documents(Must be done before coming to Prague)

48. What is ERASMUS facility?


 ERASMUS-European Region Action Scheme for the Mobility of
University Students
 Erasmus is the culture exchange program where students get chance to
study one or two semester in any partner university within the network
 It is possible only through public university
 In this way, students can achieve Dual Certification from both the
universities

49. Why do you need to study preparatory course?


 It is in the part of the course that is the reason why everyone has to study
preparatory course during the 1st year of their study

50. Would you like to work in Czech Republic?


 No, I want to focus only on my studies

51. What would you like to do in your Vacation period?


 I would complete the assignments and projects given my university. I
would also learn Czech language. If I am able to spare some time, I would
explore neighboring countries during vacation time

 One ECTS credit is equal to approximately 25-30 hours of work per
semester and for one single course you may be rewarded up to 10 credits.
 For Bachelor’s course: 180 credits (3 years)
 For Master’s course: 120 credits (2 years)

 60 credits per year (30 credit hours per semester)

55. Is there any entrance exam after completing preparatory course?


 Yes

 Yes they do provide us scholarship facilities

 If I score 60% or more during my first year, then I can get eligible for
scholarship in the second year

 As such it is from Mon-Fri, but I will receive the schedule during the time
of orientation

 Approx 20 to 24 hours, but I will receive the schedule during the time of
orientation

 I will be updated by the university once I reach there at the time of
orientation

 In Jan 2015, I got job in Shah & Patel, chartered accountant firm, I was
appointed as a Trainee Accountant and after 4 months I was promoted as
Account Executive
 And, till then I am working with this firm only
 Now, I am planning to go for my further masters studies in overseas
 And, after completing Masters I want to come back to India and want to
work with Big-4 accounting firm with higher salary package at a good
designation

 Yes, the International Student Coordinator Mr. Ievgen Tomashevskyi
took my interview via Skype

 They asked me questions related to my stream(Economics &
Management)
 They give some topics in advance and we have to prepare it and based
on that only they ask questions

73. Did you apply in any other university except this?
 No, I have applied only in this university

74. What is the name of the nearest metro/subway station?
 Dejvicka
75. What do you mean by practical based education?
 Education in my university is hands-on as my university arranges
various factory visits and industrial visits where students get to know
about the actual usage of the facts they learn as a part of their

curriculum. I have also got to know from internet that CULS arranges
visits to castles where students can learn communication skills.
76. Is there any entrance exam after completing preparatory course?
 No, there is no entrance exam after completing the preparatory
course. But yes if the credits scored by the students are less than the
required credits then students have to give an exam during
Nostrification process which is an oral exam.
77. What is the difference between preparatory course and main course?
 There is no difference as such. But in preparatory they use moderate
level of teaching because everyone is from a different country so to
bring them on an equal platform they give students the basic knowledge
of each subject. And in the next year the level of difficulty is increased
followed by a thesis.
 It is compulsory for all bachelor students to go to the ministry office for
the recognition of previous documents. That is why I have not done my
Nostrification in India.

78. Is there any entrance exam after completing preparatory course?


 No, there is no entrance exam after completing the preparatory
course. But yes if the credits scored by the students are less than the
required credits then students have to give an exam during
nostrification process which is an oral exam.
79. Why aren't you doing nostrification in your own country?
 Bachelors course: It is compulsory for all bachelor students to go to
the ministry office for the recognition of previous documents. That is
why I have not done my nostrification in India
 Masters course: I can do my nostrification process in Czech republic
as well but my student coordinator had advised me to complete my
nostrification in Czech republic as it would be done in a short time and
I would be able to take help from my university.
