ACTIVITY 2: My Stand: Write your opinion about the importance of history base on your
understanding related to the topic.

In my own understanding history will talked about the past, our ancestors sharing their
experience about their family and their situation. History provides data about the problems and
values, here in our country not all in the past are wearing baro’t saya. Corazon Aquino and
Mahatma Gandhi are the good examples of peaceful revolution. History is the study of the past
as it is described in written documents, at the past Filipinos are not Christians immediately, the
churches did not spring from anywhere. The history explains the background of our religion,
customs and traditions among others. And now in the present, it could help us to, lean more
about the past it will be our guide.
