1. UPSC Civil Services Examination 2021
The Union Public Service Commission conducts Civil Service Examination in
order to provide jobs as Civil servants. Civil servants are bureaucrats who
significantly influence the decision making of the government. The power and status
associated with this field are immense. In the list of competitive exams after
graduation, for jobs, this stands at the top.
Job Profile: They head secretariats as well as district administrations throughout
the country.

Eligibility Criteria:
1. Nationality:
 For the Indian Administrative Service, the Indian Foreign Service and the
Indian Police Service,
a candidate must be a citizen of India.
 For other services, a candidate must be either:—
(a) a citizen of India, or
(b) a subject of Nepal, or
(c) a subject of Bhutan, or
(d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with
the intention of
permanently settling in India, or
(e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri
Lanka, East African
countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia,
Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and
Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
2. Educational Qualification: Candidate applying for civil service exams is
required to fulfill the following criteria:
 He/she must hold a Bachelor’s Degree from any of the recognized universities
 Candidates who have appeared for the qualifying examination and are
awaiting results or those who are yet to appear for the qualifying examination
are also eligible for the Preliminary Examination.
 Candidates with professional and technical qualifications recognized by the
Government or its equivalent are also eligible to apply.
3. Age Limit: The age of a candidate should be a minimum of 21 years and a
maximum of 32 years (upper limit relaxation for certain categories).
4. Number of attempts: The Authority has put restrictions on the maximum
number of attempts by a candidate which is generally 6 (some categories
have relaxations).

2. RBI Grade B Examination 2021


The Reserve Bank of India is one of the most prestigious government institutes in
India and always the top choice of any banking aspirant. RBI Grade B Exam can be
treated as the first among the equals among all the banking exams. This is one of
the best job exams after graduation.
Position: RBI Grade B is the entry-level officer position post for management cadre.
Growth Prospects: If you are being recruited at a young age, there is more chance
to be a deputy governor after promotions in RBI departmental exams.
Eligibility Criteria:
1. Nationality:
 Only a citizen of India, Nepal, Bhutan or a Tibetan refugee who came to India
before January 1, 1962.
 People of Indian Origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East
African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania
(Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and
Vietnam to settle in India.
2. Educational Qualification: Generally, an applicant should have secured at
least 60% (50% for certain categories) marks as well in 12th (or Diploma or
equivalent) and 10th standard examinations.
3. Age Limit:
 Applicants for RBI Officer Grade B should be in the age group of 21-30 years.
 Candidates with an M.Phil degree and Ph.D. qualification have a relaxation of
2 and 4 years in the upper age limit, i.e. the upper age limit for such
candidates is 32 and 34 years respectively.
 Candidates possessing experience as an officer in any of the commercial
banks or financial institutions in public sector (including RBI), the upper age
limit is relaxed to the extent of the number of completed years of such
experience subject to a max. of three years.
4. Number of Attempts: General candidates have 6 attempts at RBI Officer
Grade B exam whereas there is no such restriction on SC/ST/PWD
candidates.

3. SBI PO Examination 2021


SBI PO Exam remains a top choice for the banking aspirants for years. State Bank
of India commensurate with its status and business reputation, picks up the brightest
youths through its Probationary Officer Exam. It will not be exaggerating that
clearing the State Bank PO Examination is a priority for most of the entry-level
aspirants.

Job Profile: The SBI PO is slightly different from that of other banks. SBI PO job
profile involves general banking, administrative tasks, and marketing and cross-
selling of other products.
Training: Two years of probation The basic difference is that an SBI PO is exposed
to bigger roles and responsibilities soon enough. Best performers are always
rewarded in SBI.
Eligibility Criteria:
1. Nationality: Only Indian citizens are allowed to apply for the SBI PO
examination as per the eligibility criteria specified by the commission.
2. Educational Qualification: A candidate should have the required academic
qualifications to appear in the examination.
 Candidates must be a graduate in any discipline from a state or central
recognized university or possess any other equivalent qualification recognized
as such by the Central Government.
 Aspirants who are appearing in the Final year/Semester of their Graduation
will also be eligible to apply but solely on a provisional basis.
 Candidates having Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) certificate should ensure
that the date of passing the IDD is as per the date decided by the bank.
 Candidates possessing the qualification of Chartered Accountants can also
apply.
3. Age Limit: Applicants should be within the age group of 21 to 30 years as
per the date decided by the bank. There is a provision of age relaxation for
candidates of certain categories.
4. Number of Attempts: In general, a candidate may appear in the SBI PO
exam max. for 4 times which has certain relaxations for specific categories.

4. IBPS PO Examination 2021


The probationary officer (PO) is considered a lucrative white-collar job in India.
Conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS), every year, lakhs
of aspirants apply for PO examination and only thousands succeed.

Position: A bank probationary officer post is the entry-level position for


management cadre
Job Profile: General banking and bank administration, supervision of the clerical
works and work towards increasing bank’s business.
Growth Prospects: It has very high growth prospects. You are required to have a
strong determination and good preparation to clear the exam and the
following interview rounds successfully.
Eligibility Criteria:
1. Nationality: The National Eligibility Criteria is the same as the UPSC Civil
Service Examination as mention above.
2. Educational Qualification: The educational qualification required for IBPS
PO Exam is the same as the SBI PO exam that I have already mentioned
above.
3. Age Limit: In general, the minimum age limit for a candidate is 20 years and
the maximum limit is 30 years with certain relaxation for certain categories.
4. Number of Attempts: In IBPS PO Exam there is no restriction on the
maximum number of attempts. A candidate can appear in the Exam until
he/she reaches the upper age limit.

5. IBPS Specialist Officer Examination 2021


Apart from recruiting POs, IBPS recruits Specialist Officers too and we kept it at

these are super to start your career with.

Job Profile: Specialist Officers are appointed for specific roles in various
departments.
Different Posts offered to IBPS Specialist Officers:
1. IT Officer: responsible to take care of banks’ software systems.
2. Law Officer: needed to handle all Legal or Judicial matters of the bank.
3. Agriculture Officer: responsible for the promotion of loans in rural areas for
agricultural purposes.
4. Marketing Officer: responsible for the marketing and branding of a bank.

The candidates must have a 4-year graduate degree in agriculture or a related
field to be eligible for the Agriculture Field Officer post. Candidates who opted for
any agriculture-related field in graduation can apply for Agriculture field officer.
iv) Qualification for IBPS SO Marketing Officer
The candidates are eligible to apply for this post who have a graduate degree and
one of the following streams of management:

Graduation and full-time post-graduate degree/diploma in one of the following fields

vi) Qualification for IBPS SO Rajbhasha Adhikari.
For Rajbhasha Adhikari post, candidates are required to have one of the following
degrees:

 Post-graduate degree in Sanskrit with English and Hindi as subjects at the


degree (graduation) level.
 Post-graduate degree in Hindi with English as subjects at the degree
(graduation) level.
NOTE: Candidates should have a certificate/ degree/ diploma in computer
languages or should have studied computer as one of the subjects in high school/
college/ Institute for the posts other than the IT officer.

6. SSC CGL Examination 2021

category to category.
3. Educational Qualification: The educational qualification for various posts
are explained below:
 Assistant Audit Officer: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or
Institute.
 Assistant Audit Officer: Chartered Accountant or cost & Management
Accountant or Company Secretary or Masters in Commerce or Masters in
Business Studies or Masters in Business Administration (Finance) or Masters
in Business Economics.
 Statistical Investigator Grade-II: Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a
recognized University or Institute with at least 60% in Mathematics at 12th
standard level OR Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of
the subjects at degree level.
 Compiler: Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized University with Economics
or Statistics or Mathematics as a compulsory or Elective subject.
 All other Posts: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or

For posts of Assistant Section Officer (CSS), Computer Proficiency Test has also
been prescribed as an Essential Qualification.

7. RRB NTPC Examination 2021

English or Hindi language.

sheet of the final exam of the degree course at the time of application for the RRB
NTPC examination.
NOTE: Persons with more than 40% disability may be exempted from the Typing
Test, provided they bring the Typing Skill Test Exemption Certificate to the Type

8. LIC AAO Examination 2021

9. IBPS and SBI Clerk Examination 2021


With the government saying no to interviews for clerk posts from 2017, clerical jobs
are in hot demand.
Job Profile: The person inside the withdrawal and deposit counters are mostly of
the clerical grade.
Training: Basic training for six months.
Growth Prospects: In a few years, clerks may become officers by clearing internal

Eligibility Criteria:

 Knowledge of official and local language: Candidates have to produce
class 10th standard mark sheet/certificate evidencing having studied official
(local) language will not be subjected to any Language test. In case of others,
the language test will be conducted before final selection. Candidates not
found to be proficient in official and local language would be disqualified
 Candidates should be able to write and speak English.
 Candidates who are in the final Semester/ year of Graduation may also apply
for SBI Clerk. But they will have to produce proof of having passed the
Graduation Examination at the time of document verification for joining
 Candidates having integrated dual degree (IDD) certificate should ensure that
the date of passing the IDD as per the prescribed dates
 Candidates should be able to write and speak English
Note:
 The date of passing eligibility examination will be the date appearing on the
mark-sheet or provisional certificate issued by the University / Institute.
 Matriculate Ex-servicemen, who have obtained the Indian Army/Navy/Air
Force Special Certificate of Education, after having completed 15 years of
service in Armed Forces of the Union are also eligible for the posts.

 Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in
Elementary Education (by whatever name known) OR
 Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year
Bachelor in Education (B.Ed). OR
